Making the initial contact for a site visit to discuss the project required a couple of phone calls and rescheduling the appointment. The first appointment was missed so I called to reschedule; then Anthony called to reschedule the second time. However, that all occurred within a week's time. I debated rating "punctuality" in the B column because of the appointment issue but ultimately concluded that I considered how well the project progressed as the appropriate test. The project was delayed from the original start date discussed. However, I found Anthony responsive to my email contacts inquiring about the date when he would begin. It's my experience that maintaining contact with a company that does the kind of work that can be impacted with weather conditions and unforeseen property conditions is part of the experience. Once the actual start date was set, Celestial Landscapes was on the property and consistently moving the project forward. The actual time required to complete the project was also longer than the time estimated. The estimated time of three-four weeks actually was doubled. During later discussions with Anthony, he agreed with me that he was overly optimistic considering the complexity of the project. There were some features of the project that required more time which only became evident once the work was underway. Throughout the entire project, I regularly consulted with Anthony (who was on site with his crew often) about the project. We discussed design features, plant choices and issues discovered as the project proceeded. He was extremely attentive to my concerns and desires. He listened to my questions and comments and provided his expertise. He did not discount my specific objections to some plant choices. He generously answered all my questions about the plantings and gave tips for care to maintain the best appearance.  Anthony and the men of his crew were excellent to work with and I had several weeks during which I could observe their work ethic and friendly manner. Though the project took longer, the final cost was very close to the original contract price and the increased cost reflected some items not originally contemplated in the original contract.
I am happy I was not dissuaded from engaging Celestial Landscapes because contacts were initially frustrated. My instincts were to persist and meet with Anthony. My persistence was rewarded with the enjoyable experience of working with someone skilled in his vocation, who excelled in his design work to solve specific problems with the site, who was enthused with the potential for the project, who provided exactly what was promised and by people who were nice to have around. Yes, it's great when everything is put on a schedule but situations arise that throw schedules into disarray. Since I had the flexibility to adjust when the project started and how long it would take, the whole experience was excellent -- start to finish. I know sometimes that sort of flexibility isn't possible.  In the end, I obtained the result hoped for -- in fact, the installation exceeded the description.

I have used Celestial Landscapes on several occassions for home and for business. Most recently, Anthony and his team completed a large tree project at a commercial shopping center for me in Saratoga Springs, UT. Most of the tree's that had been installed by the previous landscapers had died. The previous landscaper had installed the wrong species of tree for the soil. Anthony's vast knoweldge as an arborist, and his superior understanding of the local enviornment, helped us to find the right variety of tree for the project. His dedication to be competitive on pricing and his approach toward cost control also helped my company to save money.I will definitely use Celestial Landscapes in the future. Anthony is easy to work with, and his proffesionalism is superb.

I'd give Anthony an overall "A" rating. His work is done with an eye attention to detail and was very creative with the overall plan. Anthony drew up a plan for our backyard that really helped us visualize what could be done there. The plan and the proposal where written down concisely so we knew exactly what to expect. He just didn't hurry to get it done, he listened to what I had to say and made appropriate comments and suggestions. His crew was very curteous and respectful when I talked with them. They all had good work ethics and performed their services well. Anthony and his crew showed up on time, every day, worked through out the day and finished the project as scheduled. The two things I liked best about Anthony is his willingness to communicate with me and listen to what I had to say. And the fact that I know he is honest and fair - that is top priority for me when I am paying someone to do work for me. And of course the finished product was an amazing transformation! .Anthony is great to work with. He listens to your ideas as well as bringing you his own. He has a very artistic eye that can design beautiful things for tricky landscaping. The workers were always early, professional and cleaned up after their work. We moved a few things around from his original design during installation and he was good about working with us to make the changes.
The large, stone patio they put in looks great and allows our big, old walnut tree roots to still breath and get moisture. Because of Anthony's training and experience as an arborist, we are very confident in his tree choices for the yard as well as giving us the pros and cons for the various materials for a patio by our tree and how it would be impacted. We had some materials on site that he incorporated into the landscaping as well to save us some money.
Overall a wonderful experience to work with them. We will be having them come back in the Spring to plant the shrubs, grasses and perennials to finish out the backyard. I recommend them to anyone looking to redo their landscape into something beautiful and inviting.

Anthony was a dream to work with. He is honest, humble, and hard working. Our backyard went from a virtual wasteland to a beautiful, relaxing garden oasis :) We are very satisfied and I don't believe you can go wrong hiring Anthony.,
