This painter is average. I am sure that there are better painters available and for a much better price. Multiple mistakes and redoing of work. If I had not been present in the home, it would have been worse. Overspray on doors and trim, missing hardware, no attention to detail. Walls improperly prepared or poorly prepared. Extra charges for every little thing. They said to call them for touch up, but some of the mistakes are so embarassingly simple, it is just easier to do it myself with the touch up paint they left. In all fairness, this job was in a constant change of fluctuation as we were deciding on the fly. But, in the end, we had agreed on a price per square foot with additions for textured walls, etc. However, I was no longer dealing with the owner because he was on vacation in Mexico and I had to haggle over the final bill according to the rules that we had agreed upon with a subordinate employee. Made the mistake of not taking multiple bids for the work and doing more research.
