Ty Ricks is the planner and builder-- and we love the overall plan and design of the home. It is the roofer who created this problem-- because he did not know what he was doing. We have had problems with mold and water intrusion for two years because of a faulty roof design with a dead valley, problems with water seepage behind the stucco and masonry, problems with connections between the roof and the eaves. Infiniti Construction and Ty Ricks refuse to accept any responsibility for the problem, refuse to respond to phone calls. Ty calls it a "maintenance issue"--saying they don't do maintenance. This is not a maintenance issue-- this is a DESIGN FLAW, a roof installation flaw that should have been recognized and corrected before it caused much more serious mold problems-- which we are dealing with right now. I don't know whether to blame the construction company, the roofer, the contractor, the inspector, or the state-- for not having stricter inspections and standard protocols for safe construction. This one problem is enough to bring all the grades down from A's to C's and D's.
