I was tired of dial up internet. Where I live, only dial up internet service was available until this company Digis started to offer a much faster internet by satellite or dish. Since then, we haven't had any problems with our internet service. Whenever there is going to be maintenance, they email you in advanced so you know till when the service is not going to be available. it is always 2 or 3 hours max. They always try to do this late at night. Digis is an excellent internet provider and their customer service is excellent!

The technician was excellent. He was careful of our new floors - took his shoes off when he came into the house.

UPDATE: The tech was on time and very professional. Set me up quickly and made the repairs needed to get us connected. Not bad, not bad at all. I was without internet service for two weeks during the transition, but part of that time was due to the previous providers equipment being out of date.

ORIGINAL POST: The service they provide is substandard. Stay away from them if you can.

I'm not very happy with them. We've had them for a while and connection turns off and on, we have to reset and our computer is not very old. The reason I am not happy with them lately is because I told my mom that they gave pretty good service and that they were better than what we had before. She went ahead and had them installed. They had to come out three or four times because it's not working, she has probably been able to use it maybe 10 times since the end of January. Finally, the guy that came out yesterday said "well, I think the reason that you're having trouble with it is it just doesn't come out this far" and she said "don't you think somebody should have told me that before you installed it?" If I had a choice, I'd probably use somebody else.

We chose Digis because we didn't want to sign a contract. The guy called at about 8:00 a.m. and asked if he could come in about a half hour. He was on time, he was polite, and seemed to be truthful. His name was Eric, and he seemed trustworthy. He told us our options and then installed the dish and the wiring. So far, everything seems to be working well. The only thing I don't like is that they use a black cable that had to go through our kitchen. It's ugly. A white cable would look so much better. Can't they make a white cable?

I would refer them to my family members and friends.

Unfortunately I had no other alternative than to use Digis she we moved to Utah County. Poor Service from the get go! I should have known WE paid almost $80 a month for business class speeds and VOIP phone service. Speeds were dismal at best and don't even think about using them if you need them for a business With an office out of my home they capped the bandwidth every month by the 15th of each month i was crawling and the speeds and connectivity were so slow I had to count on my cell phone. Countless attempts at calling customer service only let to more frustration - unable and unwilling to help - I finally shut off the service. Or at least attempted to they kept billing my card every month until I had to cancel the credit card. after speaking with them yet again they offered to credit my account. NOT my checking account their account. Overall a bad experience and less than poor performance on their system. RUN don't even think about it.
