KEN EKLOF CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: We had him do finish carpentry with complicated oak crown and door moldings that the previous carpenter completely messed up. Ken fixed it all and make it look perfect, even a multi-angle rounded door in the master bedroom that the previous carpenter said couldn't be done. We also had him paint all the interior walls and ceilings. I've never seen such a good painter. He is meticulous. One wall that we wanted red didn't cover very well over the old white. He put 3 coats on, and it didn't cover properly; then we needed him clear the room for a few days. He removed all the tarps and masking, then came back, retarped and remasked and put 3 more coats on it, even buying more paint to do the extra coats at his own expense. He never griped and only took the responsibility for everything. He's always trying to not get in our way and he looks for ways to work cleaner and do a better job. Maybe not faster. We also had him bury a pipe through the yard and he rented a little backhoe that he really knew how operate well, and covered all the grass with tarps and plywood. Very careful and reliable. I think I could trust him with anything....except maybe the schedule.
