We have paid them in full but they have not finished the work. We had a contract that stated when they were suppose to have the work completed, but they did not complete the work. The tile work in the bathroom is already coming up. We have had to have someone else finish it. A lot of the supplies we purchased to complete the project were taken back and they got the money back. I would not use them again, because they do not finish their work.

We have paid him $10,000.00.  He hasn't completed nearly anything, and the work that is completed will need to be redone because it is not meeting inspection standards.  The inspector came and told us that the flooring of the addition is done incorrectly and will not stay permanently.  They've also made a hole in our roof which is leaking.  He keeps telling us he can't repair anything because he has no money, but at this point we've paid him $10,000 and gotten basically nothing.  He came out today to do more work and once again he asked for more money.  When my husband and I told him we wouldn't pay more he walked off the job.

They never clean up after themselves.  There is a huge pile of trash in my driveway.  He called me extremely drunk one night at 7:00 PM and said he was coming to work, I told him not to come to my house in that state.

We have asked for receipts several times and he never gave us any.  We finally went to the suppliers he told us he was using and they told us he's spent a total of $2500.00.  Where did the rest of the money we gave him go?
