Stewart Lawncare & Landscape

I have been looking through their reviews at other projects to gauge whether or not I liked the price and decided to reach out once I felt they were reasonable. I also noted that someone I know personally reviewed them on Google. That being said, I went to their website to fill out a request for a quote, which limited my description of the "job" to 250 characters or less. Well, we need quite a bit done but I tried many ways to write this and the box restricted me. I decided to just cut to the "meat and potatoes" about what we needed. I then received an e-mail 2 days later stating that, once they reviewed, they were declining the job due to the size of the project. Whether this was too big or too small is unknown and I am perplexed by this as their website and Angie's List reviews range from jobs that are a few hundred dollars of them trimming shrubs and weekly mows to them installing back patio stone walkways and landscapes for high end homes. I feel like mine is somewhere in between. Due to the fact that they obviously feel my business is too "small" for them, and couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone and discuss the project details with me beyond the scope of 250 text characters, I will GLADLY be taking my entire front, side, and back lawn gut job elsewhere.

I think they have been very good and very responsive. They have been very punctual and that stuff. I definitely would use them again.

Communication was excellent, far above norm for a small company, and they worked me into their schedule as a 1 off service.
I had originally told the nice lady on the phone that I wanted my shrubs trimmed AND a dead limb pulled from a tree/trimmed up. 
I also specified that the worker should knock first so that I could give specific instructions.
When the workers arrived, they knocked as asked, were very polite and professional. 
But no tools for the tree.
Fine, told them how i wanted the bushes trimmed then left them to it.  
I had barely blinked and they were done and gone. 
I walked outside to have a look, and while they did do a very good job on my hedges (and they did a good job cleaning up), I was displeased that they had not bothered to trim up a crepe that was clearly overgrown. 
Finally, the price was LUDICROUSLY OBSCENE. While I had agreed to this estimate of $155 + tax, I had in my mind that it would take them an hour or more to do the job *and* trim up the trees. Well worth it I thought.  But the workers were here for 20 minutes tops, and clearly didn't pay attention to some details.  
Otherwise excellent service ruined by perceptively high pricing. Will not hire again.

I have 5 different grasses and there are holes everywhere. They tried to come back out to put dirt over it since it looked like a cow pastor and it looks horrible. I think it ended up killing the grass. You can see where the drain is and it dips down. I wrote them a letter in regards to my complaint and they never responded. I am going to need someone else to do the work.

I've used them for several years now and they have always done a great job taking care of my lawn needs.

They came out and looked at the areas that needed sod and called and told us that they just had a really huge order and just had two extra tucks of sod. They brought them out, weighed them and left us with directions at no charge. We would definitely give them an A plus.

I have used Stewart for lawncare for over 10 years and have nothing but great things to say about them. I have them come weekly and have never had a complaint. They landscaped my back yard, trimmed trees, and installed low voltage lighting. They are my and quot;go toand quot; landscapers.

Showed up when scheduled and agreed to do weekly mowing until the house is rented or sold. Very professional and prompt when dealing with this company. I would recommend them!

We asked Stewart's to clean up our flower beds and trim shrubs and prune some trees. They quickly returned with an itemized quote over email (very helpful), and after I emailed them to set up the appointment, they did completed the work as agreed.
If anything, they could be a little more aggressive in trimming the shrubs, but I'd rather them cut too little off the shrubs rather than too much.

I picked Stewart Lawncare and Landscape because they were a local company to trim my front shrubs. I made the right decision. My shrubs were overgrown with 10 years of growth. Stewart personnel show up promptly on the date promised. They asked me how I wanted the shrubs trimmed. They then set to work and within 3 hours had the shrubs trimmed, the beds cleared of weeds and the debris cleared. They did a fantastic job. I am extremely pleased with the results.

.They are a wonderful company. They have grown from a mom and pop shop to a full staffed business. They are just great.
You can email them, and they will have a guy come out, and leave you the info. Most of the communication is done by email. They will settle quotes that you are not happy with. They come back and make sure you are pleased with the work. I would highly recommend them. They have great customer service. They really care that you are happy. This is a relationship that has been built.

The overall experience was good. They were prompt, friendly and professional. The job was done in one day. The whole job was approx $2300.00. I had another estimate of $5000.00 from a different company. I could see from the two detailed estimates why one would be more than the other. The number of plants and variety for the less expensive job was apparent and the more expensive estimate also included a downspout added to one of the gutters. I thought both estimates fair. As it turned out, the price I paid was worth the service and quality that I got.

The only complaint that I have is that I called and left a message after the job was done with a question about the trees that were trimmed and did not receive a call back.

We had used Stewarts once before for installation of Kichler outdoor lighting - we called them again for a landscape project. We had another company remove the existing dying plants and trees and Stewarts came out to install and prep the garden bed. They gave us a very fair and good price on Podacarpus and a Red Bud. The team arrived as promised and I was called to let me know they had arrived. I met the foreman and gave some final instructions and they were finished before I knew it. Everything was cleaned up - a few new sprinkler head changes and they were done. The Podacarpus are already showing signs of new growth and the sod is taking hold nicely. The responsiveness via phone and email was great - they understood what I wanted and gave good suggestions as well. I would definately use them again for any outdoor lighting or landscaping . Thank you Andy - we love our back yard again.

I have been using them for the past seventeen years. They are my regular lawn cutting service. I spend $28 per week. They are reliable. I have a small lawn and it is not a big deal to cut the lawn. They don't come at a scheduled time and so, I cannot talk about their punctuality. They usually come on a specific date but the time varies with the weather. Their pricing is about average. I never see them.

I have been using them for many years and they are very good.

I like that they are able to take directions about different jobs and not need any supervision. You can depend on them doing it. They send enough people to do all of the work quickly.
