Pirate Roofing

Shane and the crew at Pirate Roofing has done our roof twice in 3 years (storm damage both times) and did a top shelf job both times. They are very professional and give you exactly what you pay for and then some. Would not use anyone else for roofing. Other than a new roof, you would never know they had been here which is important to a home owner. No trash, debris, nails or anything left behind.

Kelley and his team do excellent professional work and are a pleasure to deal with.  As a local small business, we highly commend their responsiveness and the quality of their work.  Our Insurance inspector/adjuster noted and complimented the quality of the emergency patch job.

I worked with Joshua Kelley from Pirate Roofing after being referred to them by a colleague.  I had met several other companies before speaking with josh and i did not feel like they were working for my best interest. Josh on the other hand was very fair and easy to work with. The install was fast and they did a wonderful job. He made himself available to contact via cell phone and text during the nights and weekends when i had time to talk, and did not expect payment until the work was complete. 
Considering the other quotes i was provided- They came in at a very good value and i was able to purchase the GAF 30 year architectural shingles for the same price another company was charging for the 3 tabs.
I am sorry for posting this review so late, but it is now nearly a year and a half later and I have nothing but good things to say about Pirate Roofing. 
If you are in need of a new roof, please do yourself a favor and call them first- You wont regret your decision.

Our roof needed to be replaced.  Josh came out to inspect it and gave us an estimate.  Their price was very much in line with other companies that I requested an estimate from.  However, Josh was exceptionally courteous and very easy to talk to.  He explained everything he saw during his inspection in detail and answered all of my questions with patience and understanding.  One of the upgrades we wanted was to place the turban vents with ridge vents.  He explained how that work would be done and was very friendly about it, never trying to pressure me into anything.  We were also interested in radiant barrier and he explained that in detail as well.  We decided to go with Pirate and scheduled the work to be done almost immediately.  The crew showed up on time the day the roof was to be done and did a great job.  We are very pleased with the color and the new ridge vents!  Josh set up a separate day to have the radiant barrier installed.  They showed up on time that day and did a great job as well.  I had a little more interaction with that crew, since they needed access to the attic through the garage and they were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend using them!

First appointment and estimate went great.  They did a good job installing the gutters and they look great, but they had to come back to install two bottom elbows they either forgot or didn't have with them.  They never communicated with us about that the day of the install, so I called to check on it.  I would have preferred a few of the bottom elbows would have turned the water to the side rather than straight ahead.  Knowing what my wishes were for moving the water in specific directions as we discussed during the estimate meeting, they should have included those elbows or at least discussed it with me.  It didn't occur to me initially when I inspected the work done, but later that day I saw the other style of elbow at Home Depot, so when I met with them to hand over the payment, I brought it up and offered to pay for 4 the the elbows and install them myself (HD doesn't have the right color).  They agreed, but it's been a couple of weeks and I haven't heard back from them (I didn't pay in advance for them).  I'll probably be able to order them online somewhere in the right color.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the work done, the experience and would recommend them.  If you might be picky about anything, just be sure to do a little research in advance and be specific when talking to them for the quote/estimate.

They were great.  They were very professional.  They did a great job.  They got everything done in a timely manner and their price was good.  We went completely through them for our windows and they subcontracted people as well as got them out for us.

It went great!  Employees took their time and didn't rush.  After, they cleaned up all trash and nails.

Jon (owner) came out on the 9th to check the roof and give me an estimate. I was very impressed with him and his quote. His crew came out early that Monday and went right to work. They took off all the old roofing, put new barrier down and installed a beautiful slate colored roof. Everyone was so efficient and fast. They finished the work in one day instead of two as they had estimated.
After the installation we had some pretty good storms and the skylight in the upstairs bathroom was still leaking. It was an issue I had with the skylight for some time. I contacted Jon and he came out two different times to fix the issue. Last round of storms and no leaks anywhere.
Jon is without a doubt a good, honest Christian man who will take care of you and your issues. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with roofing questions or problems. I enjoyed visiting with him and his crew chief, too.

I used them before 3 yrs ago for gutters around my house, but after extending my patio and adding a roof I called them out again to add around the patio. I trust their work and the quality is great.

I liked them they were on time and they were very professional.

After the last big hail storm that came through North Texas, I took a look at my roof and decided it was time to have it looked at / replaced. 
I called my insurance agent and got the process started and he suggested I call a roofer to inspect the roof before filing a claim.  Stephen with Pirate Roofing came out and told me the roof needed to be replaced.   We started the claim process and the insurance adjuster agreed that the roof needed replaced.
After talking with other roofing companies, I chose Pirate Roofing. Their prices were the lowest out of the estimates and they agreed to do the work for what the insurance would pay.
The work was done quickly and professionally.  I zero complaints and would happily hire Pirate Roofing again. In fact, I plan to have them out later in the year for some insulation work.
