Poor service. Switched because of good customer service reviews. Was told on phone that they would install a replacement stove top. Even asked if I had propane conversion kit and told them I did. They came out Tuesday and installer told my wife they don't do that. I called and talked to the manager and he said installer told him the opening for the new cooktop was to small and it needed an electrician to wire it. Funny since he didn't even look at new cooktop. It is the exact model and size as old one. As far as need electrician, it has a plug that plugs into a regular outlet. He said he would talk with the installer when he got in last night and call me and they would come out today. 3pm no call. So I called. Said bill would call me right back. It is now 430 and nothing! That customer service????

I periodically refill one of several propane tanks that I use for my gas grill. I prefer to retain my tanks instead of trading them at one of the exchange facilities found at home centers and convenience stores. Through refill rather than exchange, I know that my tank has not been abused and not used for cooking drugs or other nefarious activities. A refill gives me a full 20 lbs instead of the 15 lbs provided through the tank exchange facilities. Collins Propane is a family operated business. They could not be any nicer. The owner came outside to handle the refill for me. I will use them again for my propane needs.

Their prices are very good. They removed our old tank and put in the new tank for no charge. They were very helpful and responsive. We have been extremely pleased with the services.

I would like to grade them highly across the board. I have a contract with them. I had a contract with another company previously and I ran out of gas because the gas gauge broke but they neither told me nor fixed it. Since, it broke after work they decided that they were going to charge $4 a gallon which was twice the price as everyone else. It cost $2200 to fill a tank of gas and had I done the same thing with Collins Propane, it would have cost me $1100. They came out, moved the old propane tank out of the way and put their tank in. However, I still had to pay them $100 to pick up the tank when all they had to do was to drive down the driveway and pick up the tank that was kept at the side whereas Collins Propane did not charge me anything to put their tank in.
