Brooks Electric

The motor of my living room ceiling fan (70's vintage, came with the house) had seized up -- too expensive and too ugly to fix! I bought a new fan and found Brooks Electric on Angie's List. I called on Monday, made an appointment for Tuesday. Dathan Brooks called to let me know when he was on the way, so I knew what time to leave work to meet him at the house. He arrived promptly and began work right away. He removed the old fan, assembled the new one and during installation, found that he needed an extra electric box because of the newer design. The new fan looks and runs great! After the fan was installed, Dathan looked at the electric box in the garage and the outside grounding and gave me some advice on work to be done to update the system. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional during this visit, explained everything clearly. I recommend Brooks Electric and will definitely call him back when I'm ready for the updates.

Great guy , very professional , quality work

FANTASTIC! I made the appointment and one day later he came out and did the work. Mr. Brooks installed a plug up by the tv and hide all wires in the wall. He was very professional....Mr Brooks even showed me how to operate my tv. It looks great!!!! I am soooooooo pleased!

Very nice and professional. The kind of guy to do it right once and for all. He showed up to the job when he said he would. Did a great job running conduit and electrical to my new outdoor patio. Couldn't be happier with my experience with brooks electric!

Mr. Brooks did an excellent job. He gave me an estimate of the job and explained the situations that would alter the estimate. (Isn' that wonderful to know what could happen to alter the estimate.) Mr Brooks came out in this triple digit heat and installed the motion detector, which included going in a hot attic. Then he came inside and installed the ceiling fan. It was not a simple job, because no ceiling fan existed there previously. He cleaned up the trash and was finished in a flash! That is a sign of an expert electrician at work. He did an exceptional job!!!!

Mr. Brooks was professional, respectful, and did an excellent job.  We needed some suspended lights installed, and the job required net new ceiling cuts and tie-ins to the current electrical--something I wasn't comfortable with doing on my own.  We got him to come out, do the tie-ins in the attic, install the fixtures, and add a net new switch to control them.  Mr. Brooks was on time, cleaned up after his work, and explained any issues or problems he ran into in a courteous and professional manner.  We are planning to install new recessed lighting and CAT-6 network drops and will be requesting his services again soon!
