Jose Morel is a fraud and crook. He started our Master Bathroom Remodel. Abandoned his crew (which we paid directly to finish $4,000) He took our money $15,000 and did not finish. We hired another contractor and plumbing, electrical and many other things were done wrong and not to code. So spent another $15,000 to repair his work. Buyer beware.

We hired Jose Morel and his crew to remodel and initially repaint laundry room cabinets...he did a pretty good job so we hired him to do a few more smaller jobs and he did a great job...before taking on a bigger remodel I was given a few referrals (looking back I think they were frauds) I called did my due diligence and continued to move on. Somehow he talked us into moving onto the bigger project under the guise of “since we are here let my guys start with the master bathroom remodel while the other guys finish the 2 smaller bathrooms“...made sense not to waste time. In the process a $900 bathroom door was broken w install and I was told it would be taken off the final bill. We started on the master bedroom remodel and phase 1 was great..but then he started ripping me off without me realizing it. At the end of the day I’m prob $15,000... into repairs from plumbing to painting to electrical parts and tons of labor. and materials ...I'm sick at my irresponsible decision to hire someone who came across so nice and qualified (but not) and in the end I realized he started cheating me from the beginning. Hope this helps someone before they say yes to him and his con. I will be filing charges just waiting until my remodel is completely done.
