This is a little hole in the wall place. People were friendly and helpful and provided a lot of information. I had an electrical issue that they thought they fixed but then the vehicle stopped working a day later and had to have it towed back. It took them awhile to find it but they were successful. It's been 3 months and still good! My biggest complaint will be their timing. This in an extra car for us so it wasn't a huge deal that it was in their shop for about 3 weeks, but they forgot to order a part then said they were going to get it, but didn't  a couple of times...so I didn't have the car for quite a bit. I would say, if you are in a hurry for something this might not be the place, but they were knowledgeable and friendly and apologetic. I think I'd go back.

Good service reasonable price. Easy to do business with.

I recently moved back to Waco from St. Louis. The day after I got here, my car A/C was not cooling properly. I went into Midway Automotive without an appointment. Joey and the office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Joey checked my A/C and recharged it with coolant. I was in and out in under an hour! Very reasonable price! I will definitly use Midway Automotive for all my car repair needs!

I got Midway Automotive through Angie's List and they were great. They were good, they did a good job, they were on time and I would go back to them.

Car would not start in parking lot at HEB. Wrecker service took us to Midway Automotive at our request. Car started on site. Manager looked things over and suggested it might be starter. We left and didn't expect to hear anything for a day or two. Forty-five minutes later we had a call confirming starter was bad. At 17:55, we had a call that car was ready. When we arrived, all was ready to go and because we had brought it in for a battery issue last week, they did NOT charge us for the tow. Friendly, quick, efficient; what else could we ask? Less than 6 hours from the tow to the return.

Car wouldn't start after sitting in driveway for five days. Had to have car towed to repair shop. They kept it overnight, checked everything over, charged battery, and called us to pick up the car. They could have done just about anything to the car and we never would have known the difference. They only did what they had to do and got us back on the road without ripping us off. We felt very comfortable with them, their attitude, the condition of their facilities, and their professionalism. Would not hesitate to go back and would not hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends or family.

The owner scheduled me for today; had asked if I could wait that long (instead of yesterday, when I called). He was able to get right at the work, done very timely. I expressed a desire to look into the "required maintenance" for the upcoming 100,000 mile mark and when I came in to pick up the car, he had already researched the maintenance schedule, and showed it to me. He promised to have an estimate for this future work by tomorrow. I was VERY impressed. In addition, a potential concern about a wheel bearing problem was mentioned as something to keep a watch about. Both owner and workman present clearly were giving me the benefit of their experience, inspired great confidence. I would not hesitate to return!

If it is does not perform (such as front end aligment) that Midway, then Joey will refer you to a honest shop that does good work.

Midway for me has done extensive engine repair, to checks on suspected issues, brake service, etc. Great quality work they stand behind. Completely trustworthy and best prices ever for good work. Joey and Carolyn Davy are the owners of Midway. I can highly recommend them without any reservations. GREAT SERVICE AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE. Cannot say enought about Midway.

I trust Joey (the owner) and the other guys in his shop. Midway Automotive is an old-fashioned garage that seems to be based on old-fashioned values - doing an honest job for an honest price. Bottom line: they have earned my trust, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I like the man that owns the shop. He is always very professional, honest, and trustworthy. He will actually let us know if something does not need to be done. We don't ever feel like her overcharges, and overall we have been very pleased.
