I use Bowen all the time. They know what they are doing. I think they charge fairly. I don't have to pay the minute they come out since they've known me for so long, they just send me a bill. I like that because then I can budget it in. Their price is comparable with everyone else.

We had had a fire at this rental property and the electrical contractor the restoration people used did not connect the garage to electricity, but simply cut the wires and rolled them up at the base of the garage. I had to call Bowen to come in after the fact and wire the garage back up for the light and the door opener. The other estimate we got, from an electrician we had used before, was $1700. Bowen went in and took care of this, with underground wiring from the garage to the house, for $730. We are very pleased with their service, their competence, their promptness and the amount they charged.

There were a number of problems that had to be worked thru and corrected due to electrician changes in middle of project. What I do want to relay is that the owner Jim worked with me to get all items fixed and even discounted the price to help cover some of the inconvience and mistakes made. He was very responsive and professional in the process and made it right.

They came on the day they said. It required turning off the electricity for a few hours, but that went well. They communicated the inspection process and what we needed to do as far as calling the electric provider who then came out to complete the job. Within a few days, the air conditioner compressor was not coming on and we saw that that circuit had tripped. As this was one of the main reasons for upgrading the service, this concerned us that this would have happened so soon - and not even in the extreme heat of the summer. We called and they sent someone out the next day. He couldn't find anything wrong with the breaker, but replaced it anyway. Then he noticed that there was a corroded piece in the electrical box near the compressor (sorry...can't remember what it is called). Even though this was not part of his job, he took it to his truck and filed down the corroded bits and re-installed. There was no charge for any of this. We were very happy with the work they did and the follow up.
