My situation: I was denied coverage because of my roof and had to make a claim under previous coverage, in order for my home to be insured. Since this is a large city with many roofers, I referred to Angies list to start my search for a roofer. Legacy was last on our list and of those we sorted through we were beginning to wonder if we would be able to have our roof repaired. That's when Mr. Bobby Kaderka returned a call and my wife basically told him she didn't think it would do any good, but he asked if he could just take a look at our roof to see. We were so glad he did. His assessment of the roof damage, his presentation of a factual hail report and offer to meet with our adjuster won us over to this company. This is the first time I have had to make a homeowners claim and they made it extremely easy . Mr. Kaderka's willingness to meet with the adjuster helped immensely. He even presented us with samples of shingles we could choose from. Mr. Kaderka's professionalism sold me, he had all of his ducks in a row! My last test, before I would right this article was this..which I never told Legacy I was going to do, I actually climbed up into my attic to ensure the ridge vent was installed correctly all the way across the roof, and it was, I saw the light from outside and everything in the attic looked fine after the work. I was faced with a situation a few months ago,...not knowing who to turn to in a city full of roofing companies. Angie's list supplying list of contractors like Legacy and Legacy's professionalism helped take the stress out of a situation like this. I highly recommend this company!

Legacy is an exceptional company. My family and I lost thousands of dollars from being scammed by another company here in San Antonio. Mark and company stepped up to the plate and helped us overcome this nightmare. We signed the contract and our roof was done in a matter days. Mark made sure to keep me updated daily. This company has earned my trust and I won't be hiring anyone else to help me complete any future home improvements!

After much deliberation, we decided to get proposals to replace our shingle roof with a metal one. Mr. Bill Jones of Legacy Home Improvements came in with the lowest bid but what won us was his down to earth presentation and project approach. His installers cleaned up roof debris daily and the final result is absolutely beautiful.

Had to cancel appointment. Called twice to reschedule.....no one called me back

The whole experience from first phone call to the finished product was excellent! The people were professional and very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The workers were polite, and the work they did for us was great!

Very prompt and professional. I am very picky about quality, and the installation team did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly.

It looked like amateurs did it.

Only some of the rotten fascia board  was replaced despite our repeated requests to have it done.

They did not clean up the debris in the yard and on the roof - as stated they would, leaving potential hazards to walking.

The cuts  - some looked good, other terrible.

Where joints came together some had large gaps between them.

The flashing around the chimney is not straight.

The ridges some are not straight, they come together at an angle.

The screws  where the ridgeline comes together are placed haphazard. No uniformity to them.

Numerous times they said they would be here at 8 and didn't show until 10 and worked until 8 p.m.

No supervisor on the job. Workers were alone most of the time.

This roof, all in all, looks like a 'brother-in-law' deal.

This is not professional workmanship.

Not worth the money.

The men who actually did the work, Luis and Juan, did an excellent job! They worked in extremely hot weather (100+degrees). The roof looks beautiful, and my husband and I are totally satisfied with the work that they did. Luis and Juan were both very respectful, professional, and easy to talk to when my husband and I had a question about the work. They also explained exactly what they were doing, and then did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier! Legacy Home Improvements has excellent employees and does excellent work! Excellent customer service is hard to find nowadays but iLegacy a Home Improvements has excellent customer service and does excellent work!
