The Wimberley Pool Co

They did not complete the pool within the time frame of our contract. There was excessive damage done to our neighbors yard upon bringing in the backhoe and taking down the fence to get in. The timing for this "fix" was unacceptable but, was fixed. The amount of time it took to get the plaster put on the pool was unacceptable and the plaster was not in accordance with the contract. The plaster was to have black quartz flakes in it and Mark Landsford forgot to tell them. His response to this was nothing short of passive. We still have not received a plug that goes inside the bubbler on the sun-shelf. It is an opening 1.5 inches wide and is a liability for a small hand (grandchild) to get stuck in. We have asked numerous times to have this delivered. The Ultra Pure Light took an excessive and painful amount of time and communication to get hooked up. We were not reimbursed for the dirt removed to make a ramp for the backhoe. This reimbursement offer was for $350 and verbal. It took an excessive amount of time for the plumbers to come and cover their work so that our deck company could proceed. Even with the Bank, permitting and HOA waiting periods this pool took beyond the 6 weeks listed time in our contract to build. Mark Landsford is an angry man who is hard to deal with. He and his Foreman, Gene, have over-shared Marks personal life's problems in reason for his angry and rude attitude plus inability to be informed on job and his untimely responses. Mark has not sent back a requested Final Payment Affidavit that must be notarized stating all subcontractors have been paid, even though we were made to pay the last installment before he would plaster. He was offended at my request of timeliness and has not returned it. We are unable to communicate directly with Wimberley Pool Company, because he raises his voice and doesn't listen then he hangs up on us. He also perceives communication and conversations wrongly. I have documented everything and have copies of all written communications. He will not tell the truth because he doesn't know the truth. He was not hands on or approachable for communicating with me. I was afraid to speak to Mark in fear of being talked down to or yelled at. On three occasions Mark Landsford hung up on my husband while trying to communicate what was still needed to be done. We have a beautiful pool but the interaction between the owner of Wimberley Pool Company and us was not worth it.
