Provider pressed for payment before we could see work and when we saw work, we were very disappointed.

Carpentry on deck gate was inferior. Provider used old, mildew stained and used lumber and rusty previosly-used hinges. The new railing did not match existing railing, the posts were not plumb, and the gate hangs crooked such that it must be lifted to latch properly.

The metal entry gate still drags and the sign to be reattached was dismantled and hung differently than instructed.

The cedar removal was not selective. Because provider did not supervise work crew (by his own admission) the trees, even many large ones we wished to keep, were removed including the trees on the property line that provided a barrier from the neighbors on western edge of property. Although we were promised that the workmen would preserve the cedar posts, most of them were not saved. The ones that we're saved we're lying around randomly. Trees were not cut close to ground, so that stumps left created a tripping hazard. Site was left in disarray and cedar brush was not burned, mulched or disposed of.

Although we spoke with provider to request a refund, his response was negative. He did not refund any of our payment.
