Neil Foreman is a very honest professional with great expertise. He shows great concern for not only doing a good job but also making sure you are happy with the results. He knows his job and takes the time to create a quality result. Showing up as scheduled and cleaning up after the job are important to Neil and appreciated by clients. Neil even corresponds after the job to ensure you are completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Neil to anyone looking for a good experience at a reasonable price.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the work. We replaced the floors in our entire house and the owner, Neil, personally laid or supervised every bit of the work. He cut under our stone fireplace and placed the floor planks underneath it. It looked as if the floor was laid before the fireplace was installed. Patrick cut, installed and painted every inch of quarter round without a single drop of paint on the floor. It’s one thing to pick a beautiful floor, but having a quality installation makes it a perfect experience.

install chiffon pattern (curved) tile on kitchen backsplash which required lots of cuts so pattern would work out. Looks great. This is the second tile job Neil and his team has completed at my house, does beautiful work.

We love how the herringbone backsplash turned out. They did a great job, in a timely manner, with a very complex stone pattern.

Very well. The work is beautiful and the workers very professional and prompt. Neil made a suggestion that changed my mind on the tile I had selected and I am very pleased with the outcome. I did have a surprise though. When I asked for the price. He quoted me only the cost labor. The cost of the material was additional and the cost to seal the grout was additional. I have never done this before so maybe that is normal. I am new at this. Nevertheless, the quality and professionalism is undeniably worth the top rating I gave it.

Neil and his crews have done Wood Floors in two homes and one garage apartment, Floor Tile in 7 bathrooms, One Large Shower Surround, 5 Tub Surrounds two staircases and has always done a GREAT job. He does what he says, when he says he is going to do it. Trust him. Fair price, excellent service and attention to detail. Worked with him before on other business deals and he is always fair. Already talking with him about another New Home I am about to build. You won't be disappointed. 5 Star Service.

I got 4 other estimates from competitors before calling Neil. I ignored the one bad review, in favor of all the other "A" reviews, and I am glad I did. Neil came for an estimate the very next day. He gave a detailed description of how he would approach the job, and made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and that the job would be done right. The quote came in a full TWO-THIRDS less than the highest bid I got, and there were NO extras for outside plumbers, etc... everything was included. I gave Neil the go-ahead, and his crew showed up just a couple of days later, and completed the entire job within about 6 working days. It was great knowing that if I called, it would be Neil answering, not some office receptionist. Throughout the project, Neil kept me apprised of the progress via text (this is a rental property of mine, so I wasn't on site for much of the time), and was always prompt to respond to my texts or phone calls. The crew was careful to block off the bathroom for dust, and covered my new carpeting to insure a spotless job. I was pleasantly surprised to find that at the end of every day, the entire bathroom area was left spotless, and all construction materials removed. The end result has been stellar.. honestly, way beyond my expectations, and Neil did a couple of extra enhancements at no further cost without even consulting me. When all was done, the final bill was EXACTLY what had been originally quoted. it is a real pity that one whining customer's review has reduced the overall rating for this company down to a "B" from what should be a solid "A". In fact, I discussed the one bad review with Neil, and read his measured response to the complaint, and am comfortable that all the issues were Client-induced, and should not have been a reflection of Neil's work. I can highly recommend Neil and his crew, and feel confident that his next customer will be just as pleased as I have been. Oh, and Neil tells me he does all install wood and vinyl plank flooring. I'll definitely be giving him a call when our next project comes up!

Neil Foreman did an absolutely excellent job. He removed all the carpet, moving furniture from one half to another in the media room. Efficiently and quickly laid the new hardwood floor which looks really great. On the stairs, he removed the carpet and treads, replacing the treads with oak which he finished on site. Did an excellent job. We threw him a little curve, asking for a stone basket weave mosaic on the face of each step. Despite the challenge, Neil and crew did an excellent job, beyond beautiful. The crew was professional, efficient and friendly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for anything flooring or tile related. In fact, probably will next year to pull carpet from bedroom and replace with hardwood. Great job.

Neil's men showed up at approximately 9:30a in the morning just as I was told. Eduardo and two other workers promptly got started with the work. This was going to be a two day job with the first day removing the laminate, pulling the toilet, and laying the tile. This was done quickly and promptly. Next day, two other men arrived at about 8:45a and started the task of doing the grout. They reseated the toilet and again started promptly and were done in no time. We are very pleased with the work that was completed. Will we seriously consider hiring them when we re do the shower stall in the master.

Horrible! Neil Foreman came to my home with a crew on May 30, 2014 and tore out the entire bathroom and were supposed to return on June 2 to complete the repair of sheetrock and put in the tile floor. No word on June 2...or the rest of the week other than a text telling me to let them know when my windows were in and he'd come back. (note windows did not have to be in for him to complete his work!). They were supposed to then come on June 5, and also a no show...June 10 I sent him a text wanting to know when they were coming back! He responded that as soon as he finished a shower in Austin, but he'd try to get another crew for me.On Thursday, I sent him another text wanting to know if he needed me to just get someone else and if would recommend someone. He texted back that and quot;we will be there Monday.and quot; On Monday at 6:43 a.m. I sent him a text asking what time they would be there and reminding him he needed to bring insulation and also that the shower ceiling should have concrete board screwed onto the ceiling, not the regular drywall nailed up I realized they had used. He assured me he'd waterproof it and screw it up there...even asked me to text him a picture of the ceiling, which I did. He confirmed they would be there at 9:00 a.m. At 11:27 a.m. I texted him to find out where they were since he said they'd be there at 9:00 a.m. I did not realize he'd left a message on my phone at 8:31 telling me that he and his crew were all sick with strep and would be there the next day, Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. instead! He did show up with three workers the next morning then left to get the concrete board he already knew he needed prior to comng out here! They came back two hours later and started to work. First they finished putting in the concrete board (still not replacing the sheetrock on the ceiling) and they tiled the floor. HE NEVER RETURNED TO CHECK ON THEIR WORK. When they finished I examined the floor and realized they had failed to float the floor up to the level of the hall wood floor as we had agreed they would be doing. I tried to explain to them but none could understand English and just packed up their things and left without removing the then still wet and removable incorrectly laid tile. I texted him and his response was that they would just put in a threshhold. I said unacceptable because not as we agreed he'd do it. (I'd even explained that my mother in law had died tripping on her way to the potty in the night!). He then sent me a very disrespectful email admonishing me for and quot;complainingand quot; and trying to disclaim responsibility asserting that he wasn't responsible because he didn't do the work himself! At no time did he EVER indicate the crew he brought on June 17, 2014 did not work for him! None of them spoke English so they certainly didn't work for me because I don't speak spanish! He brought them and the materials over (except for the tile that I furnished myself), instructed them as to what to do, then he left saying he had to check on his other crew at another job he had in progress. Now he is trying to disclaim responsibility for the incorrect sloppy job by saying this crew didn't work fo him! Don't use this guy.
Response from Hill Country Tile & Mosaics

"All I can say without trying to plea my case is she is totally wrong and has made a false statement. I tore out her bath to get ready for other tile to be installed. I then told her I was booked out for months. So she asked for a recommendation of other setters and I gave her one and told her it's a recommendation the crew is not affiliated with hill country & mosaics.so what ever the crew did is not on me but because I recommended them she is trying to bash my name on Angie's list and I'm a straight forward company with great service. I will continue to give great personal service but I will also never recommend anybody again."

This was the second time we have hired Hill Country Tile and Mosaics, the first was to correct a faulty shower pan that a previous tile setter had installed improperly. On both occasions Neil Foreman and his crew showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do and charged what they said it would cost. They are easily the best tradesmen I have ever dealt with. This time Neil laid rectangular tiles on the floor and up the tub/shower walls, keeping the grout lines aligned to give it a uniform, contemporary look. We will have them back soon to tile our kitchen backsplash and probably to install our hardwood floors. If you are looking for a dependable, top notch company who charges a fair price for excellent work, then Hill Country Tile and Mosaics is who you want. My only regret is that they don't also do plumbing, painting, etc. It'd make my life a heck of a lot easier.

Our slate shower had not been properly sealed and grouted by the original installer and as a results, it was heavily shedding, absorbing water, and getting mold. Even worse, the big cracks in the grout were allowing water to seep into the wall.
We had several companies come out and give quotes. We found Neil's assessment to be the most thorough and knowledgeable. He even took the time to look into the plumbing seal of our shower head and determined that there was a leak there as well and offered to fix it along with the tile work.
He did a beautiful job matching the existing grout and used a sealer that did not change to color of our slate, so the shower still matches the rest of the bathroom.
He and his team were very professional, communicative, and thorough. Our shower looks as good as new!
Excellent experience.

It was such a great experience to have Neil Foreman and his two helpers do the tile work that remained unfinished at the house we are remodeling. He was on the job the day after contacting him and completed the work the following day... and at a fair price, too. After having less than favorable experiences with many contractors during this house renovation, it was a refreshing surprise to have Neil meet and exceed all our expectations. This is someone who does business the right way in the construction industry... just the best!

Neil Forman (his company is Hill Country Tile and Mosaics) does great work, has an outgoing and pleasant personality that made this experience almost tolerable, and has worked tirelessly to make our bathroom remodels come together. We have hit many snags, not his fault at all - had a painter that was doing touch up work on cabinets - he had sprayed them before installation and then was scheduled to come in to touch up spots - he showed up, worked a partial day and literally disappeared. His company is
and quot;Mickey's Paintingand quot; in Wimberley - I paid him a huge amount and was to pay him a small fee to do touch-up work - the cabinet maker and I have called, left messages etc. and have never heard back from him. Now I am having to hire another painter to come in and basically start over - to the tune of $1400!! - to and quot;clean upand quot; what this guy never finished. This was NOT the fault of Hill Country Tile and Mosaics - Mickey was recommended by someone else who I would think will never recommend him again. Neil (Hill Country Tile and Mosaics) works unbelievably hard, does excellent work, especially the tiling, and has 2 great workers that were on the job with him - Ross and Danny - all great guys I would highly recommend! They will also keep you smiling amidst the mayhem that comes with remodeling!

I called Neil (Hill Country Tile and Mosaics) on short notice to go behind a tile installer that had trouble finishing the job properly because he lacked the skill and tools to make the correct cuts. Neil responded immediately. Neil was completely professional and courteous. He did not bad mouth the previous tiler. He and his helper went to work and in a short amount of time presented me with a beautifully finished tiled floor. I was thankful and relieved that Neil was willing to complete a job he did not start - something I was afraid to ask any professional to do. I'm remodeling an entire house and from now on Neil is my tile (and any other flooring) guy!!!
