I have a very large multi-level deck with a partial lattice roof. Jim's price was higher than others, but I felt he would do a better job. I was not wrong. He was very professional, courteous, charismatic and trust worthy. He was a pleasure to work with, making suggestions for the best outcome. I was concerned about feeling comfortable with a contractor as I was mostly alone. Jim treated me with the up most respect, answering all my questions without talking down to me. I am so pleased with his work. He took the time and care to do the job right. I was surprised that he did two complete coats of stain to make sure the wood was covered properly. He also made minor repairs as needed to give a perfect finished project. I selected a color change and Jim made sure the color was applied evenly. He took great care in protecting the house and plantings around the deck and worked to disrupt things as little as possible. I will not hesitate to use his services again and I recommend him with no reservations. He is well worth the extra money and will do an excellent job.

Jim used his noggin and his tools to repair a steel entry door that would not close, into one that worked smoothly and easily. Thank you.

I called Jim to repair a trim piece that had blown off the second story fascia. At the same visit, I hired him to clean the gutters (which have those pesky screwed-on screens). He was prompt, courteous, and neat. He performed the work with the same care as if the house was his own. He removed, cleaned, and replaced every section of the screens while cleaning the gutters. He discovered other fascia pieces that had loosened and tacked them up while he was on the ladder and roof. He left the yard cleaner that it was upon his arrival! Jim is a treasure! I highly recommend EJW!

Jim was right on time, very personable and professional. He completed the assembly of a large pet cage quickly, and helped me put it in place. Jim also offered other general services that are needed around the house. I will definately hire him again.
