Arraigned and paid for the inspection through Angie's List.  The inspector was punctual, thorough and professional.  After the inspection the inspector went through a verbal line by line review of his findings, and I received the written report by that evening. All in all a very good experience.

I am thrilled I decided to get a home inspection on a new build!  Larry arrived early and was very detail oriented.  His report arrived within 24-hours (less) and during the inspection he pointed out things that were broken that he could document on the report as well as items that aren't covered.  That enabled me to also go back to the builder with the "2nd list" of items.  He found some pretty MAJOR issues that I would have missed without a doubt as well as ones that are minor now but won't be in the future.  I wasn't sure if there was a good ROI for an inspection on a new home but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Premier Home Inspections!!!  As the builder failed to have several items ready that need to be tested, I am going to take advantage of Premier's "return package" that costs $125 - he will come back, verify everything was fixed from the report AND test the additional things he was unable to check with his tools for measurement.  With new construction - that enables the buyer to really have leverage with the builder. 
Premier was MORE than cost effective MORE then professional and I definitely deserves to be on Angie's List for top home inspection companies!  I will write an addendum once he returns for the "confirmation home inspection" too!
