Don Leavings and his team did a fantastic job on our driveway expansion project in Point Aquarius. With his experience in concrete construction he was very helpful in improving the design for the project that ultimately added value yet, was very competitive with his pricing. Once his crews started the project they completed the work expeditiously and subsequently cleaned up the site very well. I would highly recommend Leavings Concrete for any of your concrete pavement related projects.

Don and his crew were awesome. With a Tropical Storm Imelda approaching the Texas coast, Don brought in additional crew to get the job completed, ahead of schedule. I would hire no one else for concrete work.

They were on time and had the job completed from start to finish in 7 hrs. That is getting the site ready to pour an addition to our patio that was 23 x 10 and sidewalk was 40x4. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up the site completely before they left. Will be hiring them again for our future projects.

The work we wanted had several complications such as a culvert under the driveway and lots of tree roots under the sidewalk. We also wanted a color in the concrete which resulted in a delay to get Township approval. Don Leavings provided a clear and professional bid to deal with the complications and worked with us on the delay to get approval. He was responsive to our texts at all times. His crew was very competent and worked smoothly and quickly. They started Monday morning and were done by Tuesday afternoon. They added some nice touches to the concrete with a smooth border along the driveway edges. Though they had to bring in small tractors to demolish the existing driveway and sidewalks, they were careful with the lawn. It looks in good shape. They refilled the areas where the framing was done. And they swept out part of the garage removing all the dirt tracked in. I recommend Don Leavings and his professional, polite crew for any concrete work you need done.

I can't say enough nice things about this company and its owner, Don Leavings. We had some concrete work done last year and were very happy with it. He poured a driveway and back patio for us. We recently had him come back to lay pavers to form a walkway around the house. Once again, Don did a GREAT job. The job site is very clean and the workmanship is very professional. The finished job is stunning. I highly recommend him.

It was refreshing experience with excellent communication from start to finish. Leavings concrete arrived as scheduled for both the bid and installation work. I was unable to be present during the work and they sent pictures throughout the process. Even when there was an issue they let me know and promptly addressed it—I greatly appreciate their responsiveness That alone sets them apart from many contractors. Plus, no surprise costs, the project cost was the same as the bid!

I have to say there were a couple of issues. First, the cost for the driveway had to be increased because of an increase in the price of rebar. Second, I was disappointed on the finish of one section of the driveway due to a delay in the delivery of cement. Third, the chosen and recommended paver colors clashed terribly with the brick on the house and the walkway and porch had to be completely re-done.

"Thank you for your candid review and I hope you are doing well. You are absolutely right about the issues you listed. I always honor the quotes I give on jobs for 30 days. The quote I gave you was 45 days old and since we had price increases on rebar and concrete I did have to adjust the price of the driveway a little of which you agreed upon before we started any work. The delay on the second concrete truck delivery for the last section of driveway was unexpected and we stayed an extra two hours to get the finish satisfactory. The color of the pavers you chose did clash with the brick on your house. I only wish you had said something when we first starting laying the pavers instead of waiting until we were completely done. I am thankful that we replaced everything with a better color to match your house. Now your porch and sidewalk looks fantastic and really compliments your home. Your neighbor across the street said it was beautiful and I agree ! Let me know when your ready for the back patio and sidewalk that you want to do !"

Leavings Concrete enlarged an existing patio and then installed a stamped surface over the entire area. Don Leavings was incredibly patient with me, even when I didn't know what I wanted. He gave me multiple options, provided advice, and allowed me to make changes. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. During and after the work numerous neighbors have stopped by to admire the work and offer their stamp of approval! While not the cheapest, I highly recommend Leavings Concrete for high quality work and excellent professional service. KWM
