I have waited for 4 months after having my boathouse installed before writing this review, just to see if there would be any issues pop up, but there have been none, and I didn't really expect any. I spoke with several different companies before deciding on Lake Conroe Decks to build my boathouse and lift. Damon did a superb job, he was on time and on budget. The quality of his work is excellent, and his communication during the entire project was terrific. He kept the site clean and organized thru-out the project. Lots of companies build docks and boathouses on Lake Conroe, but I feel Damon does a much more thorough and professional job. The details that I didn't think of he did, and the quality of his work is unsurpassed. The only thing I don't like about my boathouse, is I didn't add a swim platform, but will be adding one in the near future, and without question, Damon will be installing it for me! Lake Conroe Decks constructed a boat dock at our home on Lake Conroe. Working with Damon Johnston on both the design and installation was great. He had some great ideas on how to accomplish the dock that we are so proud of. There are very few contractors I have ever dealt with that communicate as well as Damon. He answers the phone and responds to texts without fail. He and his crew showed an attention to detail and quality that I have never encountered in the past. There is no such thing as ?that is close enough? with Damon. He is a perfectionist and the final product definitely reflects this. Every evening before leaving the job site was cleaned and left in outstanding condition. In spite of a rash of bad weather the dock was completed in the time that they said it would be. Lake Conroe Decks is ?one stop shopping?. That is, they act as a true general contractor for all aspects of the build. Some other dock builders on Lake Conroe do not. With Damon, the quoted price is what you pay. There are no hidden costs.
