DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY. His work is substandard; he is rude, disrespectful and takes advantage of women. I think he is one of those service people that do a good job for one or two customer, uses them for references and then do shoddy jobs. I hired Stephen after checking his references and speaking with him. He was not the least or the most expensive quote, his quote was in the middle. The half star is because he did show up and did perform work for me. He painted the exterior wood surfaces after power washing the building. He completed the whole house in less than one day. He completed the job so quickly that I have pictures of how he painted over the wet water drops above the front door before it could dry! The over spray was terrible and there was even over spray was terrible. He tried to tell me that it was that way before, but I had pictures showing the building before and the over spray was not there. After he was done my tenant sent me pictures and I had to ask her if this was before or after the painting! It was after and the work was so substandard that when he called the next day for his final payment I explained in detail what was wrong. His first response was 'well how much will you pay me, you have a number'. At that point I explained that I was giving him the opportunity to fix the problem. After much discussion and some help from a friend who lives across the street he finally returned to try and fix the job. It did look marginally better but I was waiting to pay him until my neighbor could look at the job again (per my neighbor’s request). At that time he started calling my phone and my neighbor's phone logging over 20 calls to my phone and over 28 to my neighbor asking when he would get his money. He even had his employees call. There is so much more to the story but please don't make the same mistake I made-don't hire him. I will tell you that I eventually paid him most of what I owed him just to get rid of him. It was my poor choice that cost me the money!
