Went fine.

It was a great experience. I worked in the customer care waiting area where a TV was available as well as snacks and drink. After reviewing my vehicle, they came and told me what needed to be done and sought approval before doing the work. Work was done in a time manner and was all around professional.

My son took his Acura TL in for an oil change. Service manager told him he needed a new power steering pump. After pump was installed he lost his power steering all together. When he took the car back they told him another part had failed, and that part would cost $1400.00 to replace. He left and he and I went to another mechanic who told my son and I the new power steering pump was bad, He showed us where the pump was leaking. He also told us the part the Honda dealership wanted to replace was fine. We returned to the Honda dealership and told them what we had learned. They initially refused to acknowledge the faulty pump but finally agreed to put the vehicle on the and quot;rack.and quot; We showed them the leak and they went into cover-up mode, claiming the leak was not there the last time they looked at the car. They initially claimed because it was an after market pump they would not cover the labor but we were able to negotiate a reduced rate and they replaced the pump. The car has run fine since then and the and quot;faultyand quot; part that needed replacement has not been an issue. This was a terrible experience for my son and I and accordingly no one in my family or anyone I know will ever do business with any Patterson dealership.

Their employees are very nice, but their pricing seems a bit strange. Almost every visit ends up costing around $400.00 no matter what the work is.
