I first took my 98 Ford Windstar to Ford House of Wichita Falls cause it was pouring out oil. They told me that the engine block was cracked that it had water in the oil. They showed me the oil and I didn't see any water. The service manager said that it would cost me 6000.00 for a new engine. At this time I was not going to do anything with my van. The next day I called up Nissan of Wichita Falls, where my husband bought his 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X. The Nissan dealer told me to bring it in and they will first find out what is wrong with my van before they did anything to it. After looking at the van the mechanic found out that the engine was not cracked that the oil sending unit was leaking oil instead of the engine. I told them to fix the van plus the other things I told them to fix like the motor mounts, transmission mounts, back window arms, battery, battery cable, complete tune up, and change the oil and transmission fluid. To get all that fixed on my van it only cost us 1200.00 instead of 6000.00 for a new engine. Every since they saved us over 4000.00 in repairs, we decided to stay with James, the service manager. The Nissan dealer is friendlier, kind, cheaper, honest than the Ford House of Wichita Falls. Anyone that is looking for a great shop this one is the place to go. They will get you in and out quick. If it is going to take longer they will call you and let you know. Plus if you need a ride to get home or to get to the dealer they will be glad to give you a ride.
