The crews were fast and efficient. Employees were polite and considerate. Work was well executed and cleaned up area after repairs made. Billing was completed effectively and as needed.

Great. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. and were finished at 1:00 p.m. Cory and Everett were very polite and knew what they were doing. I have not had any of their employees at my house that I was displeased with.

Needed to call in plumber to help but job got completed in timely period.

I have used James Lane Air Conditioning & Plumbing ever since purchasing my home. I was travelling out of state on business when I received a call from my wife. The water heater had started leaking. In my house, the water heater closet is located off a carpeted hallway and the living room. I told her to call the James Lane dispatcher and tell them that we had an emergency. The dispatcher advised my wife on how to close the valve that feeds water to the heater. Two plumbers arrived less than one hour later and immediately set to work, draining and removing the leaking water heater. They communicated with me over the telephone to determine my preferences for how to proceed with the replacement. Two airline flights and a car trip from Dallas later, I arrived to find the situation was completely restored and I was ready to enjoy my weekend.

We contract annually with James Lane to provide a "preventive maintenance" service for our HVAC system, for a cost of $245.  Every 6 months they come to our home and check the entire system to insure proper function, etc.  This cost covers 2 complete systems in our home, as the front living area is covered by one system and the bedrooms by a second unit.  We get ours done in April, before the air conditioner gets a summer workout, and in October, before the really cold weather comes.  The technician (we can request who we want!) always shows up right on time.  He is courteous and professional.  He never tracks in any dirt or other mess.  About every third check he finds a problem that will likely lead to a system failure in a matter of time and at our approval fixes the issue right then and there.  Repairs are not covered in the cost of the service agreement, but we are provided a 10% discount on the additional work because we are on the agreement.  We feel the service is a great value and that it helps us avoid unplanned, inconvenient breakdowns.
