About us

Owned and operated by the Lavender family. Serving DFW and North Texas for over 30 years. Jay Lavender and his brother, Keith, founded Jabeau Roofing in 1980. Mike, Jay's son, runs the operation today. Jabeau is still family owned & operated and every job is supervised by a Lavender. We are a roofing company and not a "contractor". We do not sub contract our work to outside crews. We train our crews in house and some of our employees have been with us since we opened. Jabeau specializes in Residential and Commercial roofing and we are certified in many roofing systems. We have state of the art equipment, including Conveyor systems and mini roll off containers so that each job goes as smooth as possible!

Took several weeks longer than I expected (from the time the rep visited until the actual job was done).  The job itself took only a few hours. It was a small job.  Some of the delay was due to bad weather. Quality of finished product was excellent. Laborers & reps were very professional & courteous. Price was great! I think Jabeau is used to larger jobs--complete roofs, etc. If I needed a roofing job I would use this company.  For folks looking for roofers, I recommend Jabeau highly.

The service, as I stated and provide you the information was a D rating. The customer service was a D.  They did not complete the work they said they were going to complete.

"Unfortunately this job became very complex after the roofing portion was completed. at no time was this property in jeopardy. There were many reasons for delay in finishing this job !!!! We had to renegotiate with the Insurance company after the roofing portion was completed. Insurance Companies are not very swift in negotiating supplements to their original claims. We did get the Insurance Company to include more repairs to the house, than what was on the original scope. Jabeau completed more work than what was on the original scope. Jabeau did all we could in the circumstances we were given."

They did a great job, Terry and his partner walked us threw the steps with it being our first time. The guys working on the house respectful of our property bring a problem to our attention about our fence. They cleaned up after them selves very well coming back the next day making sure they got all the nails. They price they quoted us is what they stuck to even they had to replace a couple of pieces of plywood. Will recommend to friends and family.

We called some companies and asked for estimates and went with the ones that offered what we wanted.  Once they got here and got started on it they worked very diligently and got it done in a short amount of time.  We would contact them again if we had a need in the future.
