On 11/21/2017 Cohn Plumbing Service provided an appraisal of repairs to a foundation leak on hot water line off of hot water heater. 3 personnel showed up. Charged $85 per hr each for two individuals. Instrument device used to provide approximate location of manifolds in foundation. Cost of using device was $100. Total bill for appraisal estimate was $278.25 without any actual work to make repairs. Cost of appraisal in my opinion was highly excessive. I take total responsibility for not asking estimated cost of appraisal prior to service. LESSON LEARNED! Time for service was less than 1 hr. Personnel were courteous and acted professional. Complaint directed at excessive cost of service.
