The crew arrived early and began work immediately. The job was complicated by a drain line installed earlier that had apparently started leaking, making the soil very wet. Nevertheless, the job was completed on time and without incident. The foreman came in and checking that the repairs were getting to level. They spent a lot of time checking the exterior door and the garage door to make sure that they still operated as they should. This was not done by the previously used foundation company. This crew did a really good job of removing the excess soil and cleaning up all the mud that was generated.
They have since come back twice to check on, and fix, the normal settling of soil in the fill holes. They have also scheduled a 90 day followup meeting to discuss the project and where to go from here. The company that did the first foundation work did not provide such follow up.

The person who came out to look at the foundation, Johnathan, was very courteous and informative. He also dealt very well with the distractions caused by a 3 year old! Contacted me quickly with the estimate and explained in depth what exactly needed to be done. He also re-worked some estimates and amount of work needed to reduce the price.
The work crew arrived promptly as scheduled and worked diligently all day. The repairs caused some major shifting inside the house, and the crew did some interior patching which was over-and-beyond. Everything was cleaned up, furniture all set back up on porch, and all holes filled in.
The office staff was wonderful--after the work was done, I was contacted to make sure that everything was satisfactory, and they have arranged a time to come back in three months to make sure the measurements are correct.

As for negatives, I had a little complaint about materials used to replace parts of my deck that had to be removed to access the foundation. I had a redwood deck. They replaced it with treated pine, not redwood. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Also, they used nails rather than deck screws. The nails have come loose and the boards have warped pulling free and becoming a hazard. I haven't called them back for this as I have plans of replacing the deck in the next couple of years anyway.
