Unprofessional. Rude. Rushed. Had to use this person through American Home Shield and will fire AHS for sending him (the owner). Took over 8 days to come out. Was rude to my wife on phone. Rude service at the house. Ultimately, he did a half a** job and left as quickly as possible - totally rushed and didn't care about the quality of his work. Wish I could give the company and owner zero stars.

Our garbage disposal started leaking on Saturday and they had someone out on Wednesday to replace it. I wasn't happy about the wait time but I understood this wasn't an emergent leak and knew I would have to wait. My husband was present when the plumber came and replaced our disposal. He stated the plumber switched it out and tested it within 45 minutes, everything appeared to be working right. That night as I was washing dishes and using the disposal I noticed it was still leaking. I immediately called the company and left them a message, because they don't have an after hours line. No one called us back the next day and we were left chasing them for someone to fix their mistake - this is now Thursday. On Friday we finally got a call back from the company telling us the soonest they can get someone out to fix what they didn't do correctly from the beginning, is Wednesday. My husband called Monday morning (today) and is now being told we have no one scheduled to come fix their mistake at all. I'm done with this company and have been more than patient with their unprofessional behavior. Don't give this company your time or money...you will be ripped off.

I would like to make note of the cost - this place was recommended to us through our warranty company. The $60 was our deductible, they aren't that cheap, but their service is. I would never choose to use this company because of the terrible reviews and now even more so because of my own terrible experience.

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever had his displeasure of meeting or letting into my home.  And to make matters worse I had to deal with them twice.  They were sent out the first time by my home warranty company for a leaking fill hose at the toilet and some stoppages.  It took nearly two weeks to get a technician sent out.  The scheduling is ridiculous.  They refuse to schedule appointments other than by calling the day of.  They will call you at 7am and if you miss the call or can't fit into the one option for time they have for you, you're out of luck until the next day.  Once the technician finally made it out, I told him what was wrong, he walked inside, looked at it for about 30 seconds and walked back out the door.  About 15 mins later, he walked back into the bathroom, walking past me without saying a word, and started to change the hose on the toilet.  While he was in there, the home warranty company called me to tell me that the pipe in the wall needed to be replaced, that it would not be covered under the warranty, and that it would cost $75 additional out of pocket to fix.  I had to go talk to the plumber and ask him what was wrong for him to tell me anything about it.  He fixed that, and snaked one sink and left.  I had brought up problems of both showers draining slowly, and the toilets leaking their water out.  Fast forward about a month, and now my toilets will not flush without backing up.  I called the warranty company and told them he did not complete the job I called him out for the first time.  They sent him back out (no matter how much I begged them to send another company, since it was a "re-call" they had to send the same company) and he walked inside, looked at the toilet, walked back outside and did the exact same thing as last time.  Not a word to me about what was wrong.  The warranty company called me and informed me that he told them the stoppage was not the same issue from last time and that it was a new issue and that I would have to pay the $75 service charge again.  The reason the toilets appeared to be leaking down was because they were backing up while the shower or washer or dishwasher was running and then the water that backed up would slowly drain out and leave the bowls low.  So this was part of what I asked him to fix the first time, and I even explained that to him when he was inside looking.  Still he told the warranty company that it was not the same problem.  Once I authorized the work through the warranty company, he attempted to clear the stoppage.  He said he got about 75 feet and hit roots or something and they might be the problem or it might be in the city's part of the sewer.  I asked him who to call to fix it and he said "I don't know.  Maybe the city but they won't come out unless you can prove the stoppage is in their part of the main" I asked how to do that and he said "I don't know, you'll have to call someone."  Long story short, he did not fix the problem,

Provider fixed the shower without incident. He didn't fix the gas leak to the fireplace. He did not have the correct tool and said that the tool didn't exist. He came back a second trip, still not being able to fix the problem. Throughout the entire time, he refused to communicate with me and when he did, he was extremely rude. The repair was part of a home warranty so we did not choose him. He would communicate with the home warranty toll free number but not myself who was in the next room. As a result of his inability to do the job, delay in letting me know he couldn't do it, and refusal to communicate; we had to go through the weekend with the gas meter still off - cold showers for 3 extra days until we can get a competent plumber on Monday morning. Fortunately it is spring and we did not need our gas furnace.
Response from East Texas Plumbing Company
"It was not a situation of not being able to do the job. I went way beyond the call of duty trying to get the gas valve repaired, even though their home warranty company would not pay me to do the job or cover that item, I tried my best for them as a courtesy. As communication a person will have a hard time to carry on conversations while tools are in their hands while working, sorry about that I was trying to get it repaired. I'm not much of a person who stands around and talk for long periods of time, I'm a hard worker who gets the job done. I take care of buisness."
