Pricing issue resolved with good customer service:
Our outside unit would not turn on, even the fan wouldn't spin.
The tech came out and replaced the easily accessible capacitor in 20 minutes. He could visually tell it was bad because it was bulged on top. It is a dual capacitor 45/5. The 45 portion turns on the compressor and the 5 portion turns on the fan.
We have used Eldridge A/C for many years and I never had an issue or complaint. The service has always been prompt and the customer service has been excellent. This time however I was confused about the charges I received on the bill.
There were two line items on the bill:
1) Diag005 charge for $87.50
2) Cap 0050 charge for $164.54
Total $252.01
I noticed an Eldridge Angie's list review a two years earlier (March 08, 2012) for the same capacitor replacement service where the cost was $132. Why the $120 price jump in just two years? If you go online you can see where you can buy this part and quot;Dual Run Capacitor 45/5 MFDand quot; for $30:

When I made a comment on my bill regarding the part cost, the new owner personally stopped by my house to discuss the issue with me. He was extremely nice and was very concerned that I wasn't happy. He did negotiate on the price that brought the total bill (parts and labor) more in line with other prices I researched which still maintained a fair profit. ($252 down to $164)
I honestly thought it was wonderful that the owner took time after hours to stop by and address my concern, which is another point for excellent customer service!
Thank you Eldridge AC for caring about the customer and taking the extra time to make things agreeable to both parties!
FYI: If you are interested in seeing other comments people are making about various A/C companies replacing this capacitor, here is what I ran across during my research:

Their promptness, and service stood out. They got out the same day, and instead of quoting me a new unit, they trouble shot it and got me a solution. They are a little expensive, but their service is good.
