Jack came highly recommended by our realtor and after checking the company out on Angies list we called him. A supervisor came out the very next day to look through the house and promised to send us an estimate that week - which they did. Jack accomodated our scheduling requests and the job was completed within three days. They also bought the new swinging door with hardware and replaced an existing sliding door. The entire process was quick, easy and painless.

I called Action Painting on Monday or Tuesday, they came out to give me an estimate the very next day and had a crew here and the job done by Friday of the same week!! They were prompt, careful, cleaned up after themselves, careful to move my tools and things out of the way, went above and beyond what I would call "normal" contractor behavior. I would absolutely recommend them again - They were fantastic from start to finish - and the quality of their work was top notch.

We have used them several times and we would definitely use them again in the future.

He is very good and I was pleased with his work. I did not have any complaints. He kept me updated and stuck with the estimate cost. He was dependable and I woudl recommended.

They did a great job and I'm really happy with them. They came out right away. They were extremely helpful. When the painters were here, they were very respectful and they kept everything clean. They put up with a last minute color change.

The owner walked through the house, not at the scheduled time, and prepared the estimate. Action was the lower of two bidders by 14%. I hired them to work on the house prior to my moving in. They began the afternoon that I closed on the house in the morning. Great on starting the job! I left town to pack my old house for a week, my mistake. What it now appears they did is just put texture over the old wallpaper in several rooms, because they now are peeling at the edges. Also, one bathroom they ran short of paint. Instead of buying another can to finish the job, they just barely painted over the wallpaper and they certainly didn't texture it. In another bath they didn't even texture or paint over a space between two door frames. They also oversprayed paint on to trim. Fate hit in the form of Ike when they were about 95% done since some spots were obviously not painted or textured. We didn't have power for 2 weeks and I had trouble spotting the mistakes. They forgot they hadn't finished and sent me the bill. I told them to come and finish during daylight, they declined until the power came back. Then they sent one guy out who seemed rushed like he had some place else to be. I complained about the lack of texture within 1 or 2 inches of trim and bathtubs. They told me they couldn't do that. Since then, I've applied texture where I had to go and put on a second coat since some walls had little white dots where the texture material showed instead of paint. I caught several of these on the final visit, but I have found more over time. These aren't single mistakes. It's consistent mistakes over several rooms. I got a quick and cheap job. The quality was bad. I've had the other painter in to fix the trim and paint another room. They removed all wallpaper instead of hiding it. They textured within 1/2 inch or less without a special request. They were very careful not to overspray.

Jack was great, always responding very quickly via email. Person who did estimate was very helpful and professional. Crew of 4-5 arrived in the morning( Friday) and completed the entire job by about 6 PM. We said we didn't want to pay until we had a chance to really inspect work after paint dried. We were very disappointed because the work in the master closet and bedroom was sloppy. We have had lots of painting done over the years and this was not what we expected, especially after reading the Angie's reviews. It was obvious to us they must have rushed to complete that day. We complained to Jack and the crew returned a few days later. This time the same crew did a perfect job and everything looks great.

Went well. I had one small complaint that was taken care of to my complete satisfaction. I was given the choice of having a shower door with nicks in it completely replaced at no charge or having my money refunded. I chose to keep the shower door and had one-half of my money refunded. There was complete cooperation on the part of the contractor.

Their communication was great, they were quick and efficient, their workmanship was excellent and you can't tell there was every any work done in that room.

They are really late when it comes to doing the job. After the initial estimate it took them 3 or 4 months to come back and do the work. They do good work.

Jack came to the house and looked at the work to be done. He then sent me an estimate, which I decided to go with and we set up a date to start the work. He said it would take 2 days and he was right on. The men who came were very nice and I appreciate their professionalism and they were so neat! And they didn't even know that I'm a neat freak. I asked Jack for another estimate on some work on the outside, caused by Hurricane Ike.

It went very well. The estimator arrived on time, the painting crew arrived on time, the work was done well and finished in the time originally estimated for the job, in fact, they finished ahead of schedule. I felt like I got great service in a timely manner at a fair price.

Overall it went well. They did a good job and were very friendly and professional. However, scheduling didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked, there was miscommunication about when the estimate was being done and they ended up arriving at 11 am on a day I had said they shouldn't come before 2. They did a very good job, though.

In a word, OUTSTANDING. We have never had this kind of work done before, and we appreciated that Jack spent some time with us, explaining our options and correcting our misconceptions. Jack was also very accommodating to the bizarre schedule we requested for the work. When George and crew arrived, work began immediately. They worked so quickly and so silently, I was well able to grade papers while they were here. They finished one day early, and they left the room absolutely spotless. We are very impressed with the work. They have one more room to do for us as soon as we are able to get ready for them to come out. I plan on finding out what else they do!

I felt very comfortable even though I was in a house full of men. They were on time. They didn't waste my time or theirs in getting the job done.

I called Action Painting to get a quote on patching a small sheetrock hole and repainting a room. The next day Jose called to arrange and come out to give me the quote the following morning. He arrived promptly and gave me a quote for the painting. While he was at the house he noticed that several of the hangers that had been left by the previous owners would leave holes in the sheetrock in another room, and he had the crew patch and repaint those holes for no additional charge. The crew of three men arrived promptly and got to work very quickly. I was very impressed with how carefully they taped over the light switches and baseboards to ensure the job was neat. When they were finished, there was no trace of lime green left and the room looked great. One of the crew members gave me an address to mail the payment to, and a day after I mailed the check I received an emailed receipt. I will definitely use Action Painting again!

Action is a very professional company. They worked out really great. They did such a good job with both houses. They were very professional and they should get a double star for their work. I gladly recommend them. They were very reasonable and not overpriced. I believe one house cost me $3000 and $2500 for the other. I needed this done and if I ever do anything else like this, they will be the ones I call first.

The worked started out good, but the project had to be put on hold because of the weather in our area. The doors did have some sticking and the doors were bonded shut. They came back out the correct the problem, so I was happy with it.

Crew arrived quite a few minutes late, without a call to alert me. Had to call myself for status. Crew supervisor was friendly, respectful, and explained how repairs would be done (which matched the detailed estimate provided to me earlier). As work progressed, he showed me the repairs for my approval. Crew did not waste time during work. Completed repairs, appeared to be accurate and were neatly done.Crew removed construction debris and swept garage floor. My overall experience was a good one and I will consider this company for future projects.
