Service Rep came in, I ran the appliance and he listened to it grind and growl while the turntable functioned. When I turned the turntable off the noise went away, when I turn the turntable back on again it returned. The technician spun the turntable backward a few time and declared it "fixed". The noise did not return. The explanation given was when the turntable turns it tends to pack the lubricant into one side, leaving the bearings with no lubricant. By turning the turntable counter-clockwise he claimed that the lubricant is distrtibuted again and the machine will function properly. Nothing else was done. How long can i depend on this appliance to fundtion as promised? The next call will generate "oh" "your warrantly has expired - sorry." The turntable in this machine does not reverse as it should. Is A B Appliance going to come out and manually spin the turntable backwards a few times every time it starts to sound like it's eating the bearings? I think not, so meanwhile I'm stuck with a machine that I cannot depend upon continuing to function. Well perhaps until the end of the warranty. Then it will be "sorry Bud", either pay to fix it our replace it with a good one.
