I asked the salesman to call the warehouse to get the recliner ready for pickup. He assured me he would. Well, needless to say Friday when I drove across Houston to pick up my purchase it was not ready. The warehouse manager told me that he would deliver it for no charge rather than have me wait, and he would call me the next Tuesday to confirm the time, and he would deliver it Wednesday. Tuesday came and went and no call. I called the store and spoke to Joe the salesman. He said that they could not deliver it until the next Friday according to his store manager. I told Joe not to worry about it because I was going to cancel the order. Not that Joe or the store manager, Larry Rodgers worried about it anyway. I could not recommend LaZBoy to anybody for anything. Their service and attitude stinks. LaZBoy Galleries were responsible for my wasting my shopping time, my driving time and my gasoline.
Description of Work: At the July 4th sale I purchased a recliner for approximately one thousand dollars plus tax. Since the LaZBoy furniture store charges approximately $79.00 for delivery I told them I would drive 35 miles one way or R/T 70 miles to pick it up myself.
