I set appointment with shop. I arrived at 10 minutes before my appointment. The old saying "you shouldn't judge a book by it cover." The building is just office and shop. The woman at the counter was very polite and friendly.(forgot her name) Zack ask for the keys and went right work. Pulled my truck into the shop he start right in on the windshield. There was a little rust on the frame of the truck but Zack buff it out and primed it and installed the windshield. The best part of the job Zack made sure the truck was swept out and windshield cleaned. That's great customer service. He completed the job in hour and thirty minutes. Outstanding service Thanks Zack

Great experience. They were friendly and professional. The price was fair and their courtesy car people were very friendly. They washed my car and I'm really happy with their service.

We took it because it wouldn't start and it was stalling. They told us more than once because you kept taking it back, that it always started for them. Then, we caught one of them in a lie because we found out they had to jump start it. They changed the spark plugs and did a few other things including changing the oil. The dealer had to change all the belts because they were soaked with oil.

Rather than focusing on this one issue, I'd like to provide a general endorsement based upon my many years of experience with Clear Lake Auto Service.
Bobby and his crew are absolutely top notch. I've been taking my family's cars to them for over 10 years. They take great pride in their work and their customer service is outstanding. They stand behind their work 100% and will always listen to your concerns and try to address them as quickly and effectively as possible. We now have three automobiles and I would not trust their care to anyone else. Spending money on car care is never fun, but I recommend you give Clear Lake Auto Service an opportunity to show you how happy they can make you.

I went here for an oil change. I went there on a Saturday since my normal mechanic is not opened on weekends. While performing the oil change I was told that the battery needed to be replaced as well. I didn't think it was that slow to start but decided to anyway. However an hour later (when checking on the vehicle), I was told that when they replaced the battery, they shorted a main fuse. They sent someone to get a replacement from the dealership, but they didn't have it and it took going to 3 different dealerships to get one. It was at their charge, but it was my time. So a simple oil change and battery replacement took from 8AM to 1PM. They did apologize and give me a coupon for a free oil change in the future, but I wish they had discounted the cost for that day instead. I'd go back, but would only to do a specific service I state and not for anything that they recommend.

They are very good at explaining what needs to be done. They also help to prioritize what must be done and what can be put off. I have used them for 3 years for everything. They also give a shuttle service if needed.

They repaired everything in a timely manner. Always very professional and courteous. I will go back to them for all the service and repair needs for my vehicle.

They are a flexible company and they appear to be very honest. When we have had unexpected things pop up, they have always worked in a very reasonable way. I know that when they made a mistake with my boss' car, they replaced the engine for him. When there is a problem, they resolve the problem well. They are busy a lot so their punctuality isn't the best.
