CHAIR KING

We purchased patio furniture in the beginning of Sept 2013, within four months it was covered in mildew. The sales associate told me there was no upkeep for the teak furniture, and the manager agreed. The sales associate said this furniture would last for at least 10 years and only an act of God would ruin the furniture prematurely. When I told them what happened to the furniture they said I was the only complaint they ever had and tried blaming us for the mildew. When I brought the furniture to the store they never got out to even look at it. I had three toddlers with me and they told me to take pictures and not to bring the furniture in to the store. They also never returned my calls and finally it ended with someone from corporate saying they didn't cover mildew. The manager told us they would cover anything other than "the act of God." I went to the store and tried to talk to the new mgr and she did at least listen to me and gave me mildew cleaner on her ticket. I am overall very dissatisfied and feel that they took our money and lied to us. We now have a full set of damaged teak furniture. This was at the Richmond location and I understand the mgr and sales have left to a new chair king. The original mgr was also very harsh with his staff and was condescending to his sales associate.
