The only reason I am giving Cody an A is because A+ is not given as an option. Called him on the weekend when AC collapsed. He came on a muggy Sunday and got the job done in an hour. He even called to let me know he could squeeze us in at an earlier time. Quick, professional and timely. I will definitely call him again in the future for AC and plumbing work. Highly recommend Cody to others.

My A/C was having trouble keeping up with the heat last July. I called them around 6 pm thinking I would get a voice mail but Cody answered and came out in an hour to give an estimate. We scheduled the install for the next week. Everything was professional and went smoothly. 10 months later the capacitor went out. Again I called at the end of the day and Cody came out in 45 min to replace it free of charge.

I bought an investment house and needed to get the gas turned back on that required a plumber per League City requirements. I also had an AC not working and remembered that Cody (owner) from Bay Area AC, Heating and Plumbing was also a licensed Plumber. He previously switched out a complete AC unit in my personal house. I called Cody and he quickly came out and efficiently got the gas on as well as addressed the AC and water heaters. Cody was very professional and timely. This is the second time I have used Bay Area AC, Heating and Plumbing and I'll definitely call Cody again.

July 4th we came home in the middle of the day and had water coming from the ceiling. Unit was approximately 13 years old. Called Bay Area AC, Heating & Plumbing that evening and Cody ( owner) answered. Explained we had out of town visitors coming in the following week and Cody came to the house the next morning, July 5th. He explained the available options and pricing. Due to the age of the unit and that it was our downstairs one we decided to go ahead and switch the complete unit out for a new 16 Seer system. Next day our unit was up and running and haven't had any issues with it. Cody was extremely professional. I will definitely call him again when I need any AC/heating work.

Issue resolved by city department, but Cody offered to come back that evening with more equipment if the city didn't resolve things.

The provider performed the service quite well. I would recommend him to others.

Our AC started leaking on a Saturday evening, and when I told Cody we didn't have AC he came immediately on Sunday afternoon! He was friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and had all the needed materials with him. The work was done in less than two hours. I would recommend him to anyone!!!!!

Cody was prompt, professional, super nice and reasonably priced. He got my AC unit in working condition in record time. He'll be my go to repair person for all heating, cooling and plumbing needs. First, the bottom line: an outstanding job! Cody and his expert crew arrived a few minutes early and immediately set to work. First order of business: put down drop cloths to protect the carpeting and flooring. This was typical of the care taken throughout the job. Removal of the old unit progressed well, and the old components were quickly hauled off for disposal - no unsightly mess on the front lawn. Installation of the new units in the attic and outside then proceeded without any issues. Very professional job: efficient and careful work by the entire crew. The finished product was excellent. Cody takes great pride in the neatness of his work, and it showed in both the attic and outdoor installations. By the way, all this was done on a day marked by frequent downpours...! Great work; we'll have them back here again for other work.

We had an older A/C unit which was leaking freon badly. Temporary filling was expensive and temporary. We found Bay Area AC, Heating and Plumbing on Angie's list. Based on the excellent reviews, we called Cody Haley, owner, late on a Saturday afternoon. He came out right away, inspected our units, inside and outside, and gave us a very reasonable estimate. He gave us great confidence, not only in the American Standard equipment, but in his ability to do an excellent job. Cody even went to the extent of filling up the freon to tide us over until the installation could be done. He and his crew were at our house ready to go on Wednesday morning. The work was done efficiently and professionally. By the time they were done everything was tidy and clean and the A/C was functioning quietly and smoothly. Some extra items he included were overflow switches both in the drain pipe and the drain pan, and a sight window on the outside freon line. I couldn't ask for a better, more professionally done job with such attention to detail and quality.

After checking for reviews and getting several quotes, we decided to go with Bay Area A/C, Heating and Plumbing. To be honest, he had the best reviews and the best price. We don't go with cheapest but a combination of reviews and best price. We had scheduled to replace A/C and water heater after having new tile put in. Three days before tiling was set to begin, A/C went out late at night. Called Cody the next morning and he came late morning to check it out. It needed Freon which he did for no cost. He would not let us pay for it. It kept the A/C going until he came out after the tile work was complete. He and his crew did a great job. They replaced both the A/C and the water heater. All were very professional and we will definitely use them again for A/C, heating and plumbing.

At 9:47am the same morning, Cody called me and advised he could come out the same day, and that he would give me a one hour heads up phone call before coming. ?Later that afternoon, I got the heads-up call from Cody, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. ?Cody was genuinely friendly & professional from the first phone call until the job was complete. ? Upon arrival to my home, Cody was very nice, and began conducting a thorough diagnostic check on my AC system. ?Cody then conducted a detailed diagnostic check on my A/C system. ?During the check on my A/C system, I stayed with Cody during the entire check & I asked a lot of questions (simply because I wanted to learn). ?Cody was completely unfazed by my constant lingering and my never ending?(dumb) questions, and he very patiently & respectfully?answered my questions and educated me on my A/C system. ?After the diagnostic check was completed, Cody determined that my Honeywell thermostat was not working. ?Cody then replaced my non-fuctioning thermostat with brand new Honeywell thermostat. ?Cody advised that the?new Honeywell thermostat had proven extremely reliable over the years. ?I also checked the reviews for this thermostat on Google, and the reviews were very good. ?(On a side-note, replacing your thermostat is not simple & really requires a professional). ? After uninstalling the old thermostat, and reinstalling the new one, Cody then made sure the new thermostat and my A/C were indeed working properly. ?Cody took his time to make sure everything was working correctly. ?In other words, he was not rushing to get to the next job--he wanted to make sure the job was done correctly.??Cody then went out and also checked my A/C freon to make sure my level was good and there were no leaks. ?It has been over 24 hours since Cody fixed my A/C system, and my system & thermostat?are working perfectly. ? It should also be noted that not only did Cody come out on a Sunday when most companies simply don't, but that there was also a flash-flood effect the entire day. ?Wow, clearly over & above anything I was expecting. ?I will 100% be contacting Cody at Bay Area A/C Heating & Plumbing again for any service needs in the future. ?I highly recommend Bay Area A/C Heating & Plumbing!!? ?

My A/C went out today so I called Cody. My family and I have been using him exclusively for all of our air conditioning and heating issues. He is simply the best (courteous, professional, trustworthy, and competent).

Arrived on time, very friendly and polite. Diagnosed the problem within two minutes of arrival, and had the replacement part on his truck. Explained what was wrong clearly and demonstrated the failure with a multimeter. In and out in about 30 minutes with a working AC unit. Professional and courteous throughout.

We had called on Bay Area AC over the past year to keep our aging air conditioner units operating until we could get the money together to replace them. We also decided to replace the water heaters because all of the equipment was original to the house, and approaching 20 years old. We knew it was time to replace them. When Cody came out to do the proposal, we discussed existing problems with cooling in the house, primarily that the upstairs bedroom was not comfortable because of improper airflow between that room and the upstairs AC system. As a part of this job, Cody recommended adding an insulating tent to the pull-down attic stairs, as well as an additional air return and vent in that room. The installation team also fixed another problem with airflow to the master bedroom, and balanced the airflow on the ducting, and now the whole house is much more comfortable. Cody also installed trip sensors on the water heaters (to shut off water supply in the event there is a leak) and also new wifi-enabled thermostats that allow us to control the new units remotely. Great service, wonderful communication and a very professional job all around. Highly recommended!

Cody was very polite and responsive. He came out the very same day to diagnose the problem with the AC unit. He explained all my options thoroughly including which option would be the cheapest and temporary vs which option would cost a little more but would be a more permanent solution.

We knew that are old ac system and water heater were on its last leg so we wanted to change them out before the middle of summer. So we looked to Angie's list to find a good company. We got several bids and found Bay Area to be the most knowledgeable and easiest to work with plus there price was very competitive compared to some of the other quotes we recieved from some of the other bigger ac companies. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors if they ever need any AC or plumbing work

During our recent remodel, we dealt with alot of different contractors and Cody was by far the most professional and easiest guy to work with. He was courteous and worked around our busy schedule. He installed a new A/C unit, new water heater, new bath tub and hooked up the plumbing in the remodeled shower. We will definitely use Cody again for any of our AC or plumbing issues.

Cody, the owner, was very responsive and attentive during the whole process. His crew was talented and careful with all the details right down to drop clothes to protect our new carpeting and wearing coverings on their shoes when they came in the house. The Uponor PEX tubing used was both red and blue to mark the hot and cold lines. Both the crew and Cody were very patient to answer all questions and respond positively to all requests and were able to finish the job (a crew of 8 or 9) in one day. When the city inspector reviewed the work afterward he was only complimentary and passed it without raising any issues. Since the job was done, Cody has been very conscientious about following up with every detail and has come by several times.

I called Bay Area Tuesday night and he said he would come at my convenience around 5:15 - 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. Next day Cody the owner showed up on time and was very professional. He determined my problem explained the issues my A/C was having, after a very thru evaluation. He fully explained my options both short and long term. I never felt pressured to spend more money than necessary! I have had other technicans come out to just clean and maintain the unit. But always come to tell me I need to repalce some expensive parts. It is like they get a bonus for additional sales. It was very nice to deal with Cody and Bay Area A/C! Cody will be my go to A/C man.
