Cody was on time as promised. He is very professional and knowledgeable and went beyond "the call of duty" to make sure my unit was properly serviced. He pointed out another problem that I was not aware of. He is a very honest and ambitious young man. and will make sure you are pleased with his service. I will definitely call Bay Area A/C Heating & Plumbing again when needed. I will recommend Cody to my friends.

It used a non-Angie's List referral to install my new garbage disposal. Almost a year later its leaking, the seal was corroded, and the whole disposal was loose! I had already looked at it before calling Bay Area and the seal was corroded and the whole disposal was very loose. Bay Area looked at it, confirmed my findings without me telling him, and fixed it. I would use him again and highly recommend!

Cody is an excellent professional. He is extremely knowledgeable, prompt, efficient and very reasonably priced.

Cody is a guy that really wants to prove to you that he cares about doing a good and honest job for you at a great price. He's easy to talk to, but he's not a businessman that runs a fleet of roaming salesman (who happen to be able to fix AC systems). He really wants to be on the ground to gain your continued business by showing you he's got your best interests at heart. Combine that with a lean business model so he can keep his prices very competitive, great technical skills, and work ethic, he can't be beat. I knew instantly I didn't need to shop around for a new AC system after speaking with him. It was raining very hard that day and it was muddy, but that didn't bother him. The rain had the potential to cause some delays (checking pressure at the connectors, etc), and if it did, he would come back ASAP to finish things. In the end, he didn't need to and got me squared away that day. He also noticed a couple of things wrong with my water heater connections. He didn't take that as an opportunity to push a sale; just mentioned it would later develop into a problem and to call him when it does. I'll definitely call him again.

Cody responded quickly to my initial call. He arrived on time to do an estimate. He accepted the coupon on Angies list and let me pay for it online as he was standing in my kitchen. He arrived on time for the appointment to do the work. He got down to business and got it done quickly - he even waited for me to pay him when the cable guy showed up. I appreciated his professionalism and the wide scope of services his company provides. I would hire him again.

It was unclear whether the water was coming from plumbing or the air conditioner vents which were both nearby. Even though the city water had coincidentally been shut off an hour before his visit, he was able to examine the crawlspace carefully and show us that it was actually the roof leaking which was the source of the water damage. He did a great job, was very punctual and professional, and we would hire him again. Even though I called to let him know our water main had been unexpectedly shut down and he might not be able to diagnose the problem, he took the risk to come out and troubleshoot it for us. Luckily it paid off since he was able to assess the air conditioner and the roof and discover the real problem!

Air Conditioning wasn't cooling on a weekend. I called Bay Area A/C Heating and Plumbing. Cody came out within the hour to troubleshoot. Coolant levels were low and I had a bad expansion valve. He charged the coolant enough to get me through until Monday, when he could get a replacement expansion valve. Cody was a consummate professional - the very best in his field. He uses modern equipment - no guessing on which component is bad or how much coolant to put into the system like some 'jack of all trade' companies we have called in the past. Very fair price for a high level of service. I highly recommend Bay Area AC and Plumbing!

Cody was right on time as usual. He examined the problem and explained what we needed to do. He flushed out the clog in the dishwasher drain. He showed me the clog and explained what caused it. He then replaced the old garbage disposal I had with a better, more powerful one. He explained that I did not need to replace it but he had so many better versions of it at great prices that I decided I could use a newer one... and it is working flawlessly. Cody is, by far, the BEST service provider I have ever used. He is punctual, honest, sincere, and extremely professional. He always recommends the best option for the user, as opposed to trying to sell or do something that is not necessary. He explains every step of what he is doing and why he is doing... so that you know, you learn, and you understand. I strongly recommend him to anyone.... with no reservations at all. He is simply the BEST...

I think they did a really good job and they also told us, and that was our second leak in about a month, so they said we're going to need to re-pipe. So, we need to re-pipe which is going to be a really big deal because it's about $8,000. I would absolutely refer them. They're very courteous, punctual. The pricing was fine.

He was not pushy, he was very professional and knowledgeable.

Diagnosed the problem and found that it was simple loose wire. I thought I needed a new air conditioner so I was very glad that cody was honest and make a simple repair and save me tons of money. I will definitely use them for all my plumbing and air conditioner work in the future. They also fixed my toilet that would flush by its self sometimes!!!! GREAT JOB.

Cody showed up not only on time but a few min early. He found the problem in our heating system with in 20 min. He did not have the part however was able to get it to kick on long enough to keep the chill out for the night. He promptly returned the next day to replace the part and we have not had a more trouble with out system since.

Excellent. We called on a early Sunday morning hoping we could fit in sometime during the day. Cody was at our home within the hour. He worked us into his schedule in order to heat our heater working correctly. Excellent service!

Cody was on time, and able to diagnose the problems with the furnace and the water heater very quickly. He replaced the thermostat quickly, and cut and fit a new filter for the furnace for me. Cody also diagnosed the water heater problem, which involved a defective electrical switch. He was able to turn it on long enough to get me one tank of hot water, but then he pulled the circuit because it was a fire hazard. I appreciate his professionalism as well as his reasonable prices. I would definitely use his company again.

Bay Area AC was great. I called them about 8 AM after a night with no AC and they were at the house by 9. Cody did a great job of identifying the problem, discussing the repair options and providing some education on other issues related to our AC. His rates are very reasonable, he answered all of our questions and did not pressure us for a decision to repair or replace. He also put a temporary fix in place so that the house stayed cool until we could repair the unit. His company also does plumbing and I plan on using Bay Area in the future for plumbing and HVAC needs. Great guy, honest, did not mind questions, and very knowledgeable.

Cody is completely professional and very personable. He explained everything step by step. He even searched to find why my roof is leaking. I purchased the $49 ac check but he even looked at my furnace. My ac was very low on Freon and he added. I will use him in the future for all my ac, heating and plumbing needs. A Plus work on everything! The inspection and the work was much needed. Cody explained everything and showed me what the problems were. His crew was prompt, polite, worked efficiently and kept everything very clean both during and at the end of the service. It is my pleasure to recommend Bay Area AC Heating and Plumbing, and I'll be using them for preventive maintenance and if needed for repairs and service in the future.

This individual was fabulous. He was prompt, professional and well educated on the A/C and heating systems. He thoroughly checked the inside and outside A/C units and offered suggestions for better efficiency. I would definitely recommend this individual for anyone in the gulf coast of Texas area. This is a real winner!

I purchased a hot deal for $49 to service our air conditioner including cleaning coils. We have been experiencing problems with the system for weeks and have had other companies come out but then new problems occurred which caused both air conditioners to shut down. Cody was very responsive to my call and came out the same day. He was very thorough and explained his reasoning on what could be the cause of the problems. The motor had died on one unit but the symptoms on the other unit ( stop running, water in the drip pan) could have a number of causes. Again, we had other companies come out previously and determined the a/c was freezing up which caused it to shut off but they couldn't figure out why the water was dripping because the lines were not clogged. They determined it must be the evaporator coils which we were given a ball park figure of $1500 to replace those. While Cody acknowledged those could be causes he also tested the capacitor and determined it was not working at full capacity so he put on a new one and he also took out the air filters because even though they did not appear to be too dirty, they may be impacting the air flow. So we monitored the impact of those changes overnight. Cody came back the next day to check the results and they seem to have made the difference. Both of our units have been working properly ever since. I highly recommend Cody. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He is now my "go to" for a/c needs and I will try him if I have any plumbing issues because I trust that he will be honest and give me a fair price.

I talked with Cody on the phone and he showed up the next day right on time. He found the leak very quickly, showed it to me, explained what needed to be done in great detail, and finished the job, again right on time. He is very professional, he pays attention to every detail, and he explains exactly what he is doing... he is really teaching it to you if you like to learn. He also worked on two sinks, fixed them for a very reasonable price... and again, he taught me what I could do the next time if I were to fix them. He is simply amazing... :-)))

AC problem turned out to be minor. Got it working , cleaned coils, and added insulation to a pipe that was left unfinished by a previous repair company. Very happy with his professional attitude and honesty.

Checked all functions of the central A/C, in the attic and outside unit clean condenser Coils. Showing me what he found as he went along. Figured out the noise i was concerned about were the lines from attic to outside in the wall and he positioned lines to eliminate noise. pointed out the capacitor was getting old and weak and provided me a price to replace and I had him replace it.

We called Bay Area A/C on a Sunday morning at 9:00, they were here well within 30 minutes. ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!!! We will definately use them for all our a/c and heating needs and we will refer everyone we know to Bay Area!!!

Cody is probably the one of the most professional service provider I have ever met. He is very punctual, shows up on time and completes the work on time. He is very honest and his work is simply A+++ I had my unit checked by two other providers first, and got two estimates which were rather unreasonable. When Cody checked the unit, I found out that those two estimates were not only ridiculus but also required parts to be replaced even though there was nothing wrong with them. So do I think that Cody is a honest person? Yes, absolutely!!! Honest, knowledgeable, reasonable, and a friendly service provider who shows up on time -- That is what this gentleman is all about. And yes, I would use him again and again, and would recommend him to others... again and again.
