We were more than satisfied with the services of Bay Area AC heating and Plumbing. Our AC went out in a heat wave in August and Cody came out at the time he said he would be there. He was very professional and provided us options in what we needed . We also got a thank you card from him for using his services which is something you don't see now days. We would definitely call him again .

Very honest, showed me how he found the problem. Gave me a quote but also mentioned that I should have warranty on my unit and that would be a better financial route for me. We refer and use in the future.

My A/C stopped blowing cold yesterday around 9pm while temperatures peaked at 103 fahrenheit! This morning I read all the very positive reviews for Bay Area A/C and noticed that the owner Cody seemed to do all the work himself. I called and left a message. He called back a minute later, was at my house twenty minutes after that, quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and had it up and running all within the hour! Cody seemed very knowledgeable, took time to clearly explain everything, and was upfront about cost before starting the repair. Being the owner, Cody works hard to build a company known for speedy service, knowledgeable expertise as a technician, fair prices, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Cody over the other major local competitors I've used in the past.

First, Cody came out the same day I called. He replaced the capacitor and had the AC running again quickly. A week later I had water leaking and was in a bit of a panic. Once again, Cody came out the same day to address the problem. He unclogged the drainline and got the AC running again. He returned a couple of days later to install a PVC drainline and float switch so that I wouldn't have a repeat of the overflowing pan. I appreciated Cody's quick response, and I'm glad to put my AC worries behind me.

After calling 2 other ac companies that weren't willing to come out after hours to check my problem I called Cody and he said he would be at my house in 45 min. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 30 min and the ac started up and worked great.

Cody was great. He came out to give us an estimate to replace one of our two units. We had had the other unit repaired that day, under warranty and it was giving us problems again so we asked Cody to look at it while he was here. He not only checked the Freon but also checked a few other things that he found. It made me much more informed when I called the other company back. Since that unit is under warranty we decided not to have Cody service it but when we replace the other unit we will definitely have Cody do the work.

The service provider called and said he could come earlier than the scheduled appointment. Once he arrived he showed several different areas in the AC system where I could perform preventative maintenance to avoid AC drain blockages in the future. As a first time homeowner I appreciated the explanation and care he showed during the service. Glad to have purchased this service as it prevented a potential flood in our attic and saved our side yard from the constant drain of the condenser pan.

Cody arrived at the time he indicated, phoning beforehand. He was pleasant & professional. we told him that we just could not figure out the programmable thermostat that is in the house, not through their website nor following directions & that we were extremely frustrated w/it. He explained that he could replace that thermostat w/one that would be relatively easy to use & see. Cody took care of the thermostat that day & scheduled the rest of the work for another day. On that second visit, he installed flexible duct to provide us w/better air flow. His estimate of the time it would take to accomplish both jobs was 'spot on.'

Cody came over at 9pm on a Saturday night to look at my air conditioner. It turns out that is was working fine, just seemed like it was not performing well due to the increase outside temperatures. I will definitely use him again!

I submitted a request for the $49 emergency repair through Angie's list Thurs morning July 15 and talked to company owner/repairman Cody that afternoon. He was on another job and coordinated to contact me at work when he was within 30 minutes of my house. He called me and I arrived at my house right before he did, thus no waiting on my part. He diagnosed my problem quickly and had the replacement part in his vehicle. The $49 repair fee was deducted from the cost of the repair. He checked out the operation of my indoor and outdoor units. My outside unit is operating at a slightly higher pressure but nothing to be too concerned about; he recommended a cleaning of the vents around the unit. I decided to have him do that cleaning in the fall when I have him check out my heating system. He also added bleach to clean out any slime/algae in the drains. Overall I was very pleased with the repair. Cody was very professional, prompt and hard working. I will definitely contact him for future maintenance and repairs on my A/C, Heater systems. I recommend this company highly!

This is not how I would have chosen to spend my day or my money, but since I didn't have a choice, the experience could not have gone better. When my A.C. or heater breaks down again, or when I need a plumber, there is no doubt who I will call, and I will recommend Bay Area to anyone I know that needs these services.

I woke up on Sunday morning (4th of July weekend), to a smoldering house +80 degrees. I called the company that usually does the maintenance on my Air Conditioner and I got their voice mail. Apparently they don't service on the weekends unless you are under warranty or have paid for a service plan. So I consulted Angies list, and decided to give Bay Area AC Heating and Plumbing a call. Cody actually answered the phone and said he could be at my house in a couple hours when he was finished with the job he was working on. He did show up in a couple of hours and replaced a condenser, added freon, and did some other maintenance. Cody was a very pleasant and professional person, and got my AC working again very quickly. I will keep his number handy for any further maintenance or repairs on my AC, and would recommend him to anyone.

I can highly recommend Cody Haley, owner of Bay Area AC. We were having problems with the outside AC unit as well as the thermostat. Cody responded to my phone call within minutes and made an appointment to come out just a few hours later. He very quickly diagnosed the outside unit and got the fan motor running. He also did a thorough electrical check of the entire system and thermostat before determining just the thermostat was faulty. The thermostat is almost 30 years old so that was no surprise. But I appreciated that Cody checked everything out to be sure there were no other issues. My husband decided to replace the thermostat himself and Cody had no problem with that. He is very professional, courteous, and easy to work with. He wired the AC temporarily to cool the house while we finished up the paperwork and then left everything in good shape for my husband to install a new thermostat that night. Everyone was happy. Our AC is back to running like clockwork. Cody is honest, relates well with his customers and is working hard to grow his business in the Clear Lake area. We will definitely have him again.

It went better than expected. This is the second time I've had Cody at my house. The first was a freon charge and this time ended up being a clogged A/C drain. BOTH times, I've expected the worse. I have a 20 year old American Standard and think that at any moment, I would have to bite the bullet and replace the whole system. This says a lot about the products that Cody uses along with the integrity the man has. He easily could of drawn $6-8000.00 out of me today and replace the whole system, but it was his idea to start troubleshooting from the simplest problem and work his way back. He didn't get to far before he realized that the only problem I have is a clogged drain. I can't say how grateful that I am to have found this company on Angie's List, and will never consider ANY other A/C, Heating and Plumbing company as long as I'm my own homeowner. If you're like me and read the reviews, don't go any further. This is the company to go with.
