"Grateful to you for the opportunity and the review!! Thank you!!!!!!!"
"Thank you so much, ma'am! Henry and I both love to hear this stuff! It really makes us feel good so thank you."
"The homeowner is correct about us stepping through her ceiling. I apologized profusely and paid a sheetrcoker $350 to fix it. The homeowner did not like the work and said she could have it done by someeone she knows for $250. I showed up at her house with a check for that amount and she said it had gone up to over $900. That is how everything seems to be going here. There are no straight conversations, it is like everything is a diversion so that we can't actually get over and be done. The last appointment to address any concerns was cancelled by the homeowner. I have e-mail after e-mail where I state our desire to wrap everything up. In the pircutre you see there is rust on that brass fitting that she keeps saying is chrome. We want to replace that. She is saying that the green on the hose bib pipe exiting the wall needs to be removed. The greern is the flux solvent that you need to apply before soldering so that a proper seal is made which would be covered by insullation if we were ever able to get back over there."
"I hate to say that I was not aware of any of these issues. How totally unacceptable. Please know that we will address everything and I am truly sorry for this negative experience."
"I wish you would have called us back out, ma'am! We would have given it another shot. Stoppages can be tricky. Sometimes you can actually "push" through a blokcage to create a pathway for temporary relief without realizing that the main obstruction wasn't cleared."
It's been a pleasure dealing with this company. Owner Billy is easy to communicate with. Price is competitive, staff is punctual, hard-working, quality of work is great. They also cleaned up after the work. Installing the tankless water heater is one of the best home improvement decisions I have made. Aqueduct has been professional since I contacted them and put my mind at ease by listening to and addressing all my needs and concerns. This has made my decision-making process easy. I am enjoying the new system now and don't need to worry again about running out of hot water or having a water damage in attic.
I would also like to give some credit to my neighbors who recommended Aqueduct Plumbing in the beginning.
"I just saw this review!! I truly appreciate this. Thank you for the kind words - it's so motivating!"
Plumbing line replacement took a bit longer, but that's only because there was approx. 150 feet of trenching around my house, plus more tunneling under the foundation. I'm happy with the results, and impressed with how punctual the workers were and how hard they worked.
"Thank you! You are such a nice lady and that makes this job going well so satisfying to me."
I highly appreciated that he was able to send someone out same day. The plumber was overall nice. Not sure about price, and did not get to original parts, but I understand they are old. Would consider trying them again.
"Thank you very much for your review! Sometimes I think we can get into a bit of a "solbe the problem first" mode and that sounds like what happened here. Polished brass, though incredibly popular in the late 90's and early 2000's is pretty hard to come by these days. I think after reading your input we should have stopped, settled down and explored alternatives such as the one you suggested to replace everything. We are somtimes leery of this approach as it can be taken as an upsell and so most of the time we are just trying to fix the problem. Thank you again for the review, it is very much appreciated."
"Thank you very much, sir. We really appreciate the opportunity to work for you and are thrilled that you were pleased. We are usually a bit higher than landscapers on things like French drains due to the fact that landscapers aren't licensed and don't carry anywhere near the insurance of a plumbing contractor so I think that might be why our quote looked high. Thank you so mcuh!!"
"So appreciative of the kind words and nice review! It really motivates us. Thank you!!!"
"It was a pleasure working for you all. Such kind people. Thank you!!!"
Henry arrived 10 minutes before 10am. I explained the problem. He found the source of the leak right away and replaced the gasket, all in about 40 minutes. When Henry said he was finished and it was taken care of, I nearly cried for joy and told him I felt like hugging him - and he let me.
I should mention the reason I was so grateful and emotional is because I was told by another plumber yesterday that the leak couldn't be located, that I would have to take out a section of the living room ceiling and they couldn't give me a firm figure as to how much it would cost. Further, I was told to wait until it leaked again and call them.
So, you can sort of imagine the relief and gratitude I felt.
"Thank you very much! I love it when we figure out a solution that saves a lot of money. It's a great feeling. We appreciate the feedback of course but the hugs are what really made us smile! :)"
Update: Would like to add that I am very impressed with this company/owner. Instead of making up excuses and being defensive, he manned up, listened and I truly believe, learned from the experience. It is very hard to run a business and even harder to please everyone 100% of the time. Each client will have their own expectations and sometimes these expectations are unreasonable. Billy has reached out to us to "make right" and in his defense, some of the issues may not have been communicated as I had thought. Just the fact that he is willing to do whatever possible to right a wrong with no excuses shows me that he is a man of his word and is striving to deliver the best job possible. We will most certainly use his company again and are very appreciative of his actions.
"Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate all of our customers letting us know how we are doing, good or bad as there is something to learn from all of it. I just left you a voice mail to apologize and discuss so please feel free to call me any time. I care very much about what you have to say and the jobs that we do. I'm pretty well dumbfounded by a couple of the comments so I just really need to sit down with our crew. I do want to point out that we do give free estimates and it seems that we didn't communicate properly that arriving and analyzing is free but doing something like snaking a drain line carries a charge (and in this case the charge of $65 was deducted, in fact we deducted over $150 off of the original proposal prior to starting the job). I also never got the impression from Mr. Hall that things were going this way and that too is my fault for not having a better handle on the situation. I'm very sorry for this negative experience with us. I can't emphasize enough how much it matters to me to deliver good service."
Henry Pineda and a helper showed up on schedule and immediately went to work to find the leak source. They worked quickly and efficiently, ruling out all possible sources until they had narrowed it down to the toilet in our guest bathroom. Henry explained that we had not seen indications of a leak in the bathroom because it was happening very slowly and the water was draining under the tile floor and into the base of a common wall that was shared with the dining room. He cut away some of the wet wallboard and showed me how the water was bubbling up each time the toilet was flushed. After replacing the toilet's wax seal, Henry showed me that the problem had been corrected by demonstrating that the "bubbling" effect was no longer occurring.
This was an excellent experience with a very competent plumber (and assistant --- sorry, I did not write down his name). They found the problem, made all necessary repairs and cleaned up after themselves in less time than I was expecting it to take. The cost of service was, in my opinion, quite reasonable.
I will most definitely use Aqueduct Plumbing in the future and would have no problem recommending them to neighbors and friends.
"Thank you very much! Before typing this I called the guys and let them know that they'd done a fantastic job for you and they were delighted. There is nothing more rewarding or uplifting around here than to hear nice things from our customers. Thank you!"
"Thank you so much for the kind review! I really appreciate the opportunity you gave us and would love to be there for you in the future should you find yourself in need of a plumber!! Thank you again, you brought a smile to my face!"
"[removed member name], Was this job called in for a different address or homeowner name? It would be nice to pretend I didn't see this and take credit for a favorable review but in checking my records it seems that another company might be deserving of your praise as I find no record of this name or address. Now then, I would love to go head to head with them in the future should you find yourself needing a plumber!!! Have a great day!!!"
Last night I came home to water coming from near my water meter. I called Aqueduct and while on the phone he helped me determine if the issue was before the meter and would mean I needed to call the city. I was pretty sure it was after but he helped me confirm so I could get the right service as quick as possible. They were able to send a tech the very next morning. Freddy showed up on time and went right to work. He showed me exactly what the issue was and what he was going to do to repair it. a root from a near by tree had pushed the pipe and eventually over time broke the 90 degree angle section. He dug out extra of the roots, repaired the pipe, replaced the sod and cleaned up the area perfectly in a little more than an hour. My bill was less than I expected. Great service.
As back ground I used another national company for years for my plumbing. After the Hurricane I discovered that my drain out pipe cap had been knocked off by flying debris. I called that company and made an appointment for them to come a few days later and replace. On the day of the appointment that tech had not showed and wuold not answer my calls.. I called Aqueduct and his plumber Henry was close and he sent him right over. Henry replaced the cap and cleaned up the debris that had gotten in the drain. He was done and had left when the other guy showed. Since that day Henry has replaced pipes, installed fixtures, unclogged drains and a multitude of other things an old house needs. He has been my first call always on time, professional, clean and extremely nice. Even once when my tile guy had messed up the counter top, Henry actually walked across the street where the tile guy was working on my neighbors house and brought him over to fix the counter for me. So the new sink would sit right. The first time Aqueduct did not send Henry I was very nervous, But Freddy showed up and just like Henry, he is professional, explains everything before he does it. The job is done right. Cleans up the area completely and is very courteous the whole time. Took the time to save the sod and replace exactly. I even took a picture of it when it dried a little to show.
I recommend them to everyone I know!
"Thank you for the kind words! I printed out your review and gave it to Freddy in front of everyone and he was beaming!"
They have contacted the city for inspection and;scheduled it very promptly. We would definitely call this company again if any other plumbing need comes up.
Update: we have hired this company again to install the refrigerator line, and once again were very happy with the service provider.
"Thank you!! It's been a pleasure working with you!"
"Thank you for the favorable review even after we snapped that sprinkler head while digging! Glad we were able to fix it! I appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback."
"Thank you for the kind words! We sure appreciate you and will work hard for you to maintain that A-1 status any time you are in need of plumbing work!!"
Excellent repair work. Excellent attention to detail after the fact as well.
Added these folks to my phone contacts for next time...we'll be using them again for sure.
"This review makes me so proud of the guys we have. Thank you!"
"I'm sorry for the delay in replying - I didn't even know we could before today!! I appreciate your kind words and hope to have the opportunity to work for you again in the future."
