David and his crew installed new landscaping and flower beds around my newly built home.

We weren't able to get started on the project prior to plants getting established for the winter, so decided to postpone until early spring. I wrote David a personal note thanking him for the bid and telling him that we were going to wait until spring. I contacted David around March '14 to pencil us in for the job. I phoned him again in April to let him know that gutters were being installed and as soon as those were completed we'd like to start the landscape project. I really feel that he wanted to do the job at his convenience, not ours. However, when my husband left him a message to contact us asap if he wanted the job, his efforts began. Most all of the estimated work was done on May 6, from about 7a-3p by 2 men. David was here to set the project up w/ about 5-6 men who positioned all the potted plants near their areas. They all left shortly, with the 2 men doing all the planting. We eliminated 1 large plant and David wanted to wait until the end of summer to move some existing plants. All this was done without a contract or any down payment. David stated prior to planting that all the plants were guaranteed for a year.

Its been 6-8 weeks since the landscaping was done. Two black-footed daisies began to die within a week of planting and I phoned Weatherford Gardens after about 3 weeks, wanting to give them a chance to get established before confirming their death.

I spoke w/ David and he said that I could either come by and pick up 2 plants or they could come out and plant them, no mention of a fee involved. I stated that I preferred to have them planted and there was no hurry, just whenever it was convenient, or should we wait a bit and see if any more died to replace at the same time. He said that he would schedule it and call me when they were coming out. Well, on Tues a.m.. this week David called to say he was sending someone out to replace the daisies. A man came out and replaced them in about :10 time. The next day I got a bill for 81.19 for the installation of 2 plants plus tax. Since I had not been informed of any labor fees or service call fees, I was very surprised. After contacting David, he agreed to drop the 81.19 on the new invoice.

I'm very happy with the overall project. The problem with the add on fee could have avoided with a contract or a listing of fees.

Very well - we love Weatherford Gardens - have been using them for nine years. We used another local nursery at one point but their quality was not nearly as good as David and his team.

Arrived midmorning. Removed all old landscape. Arrived on time and planted new landscape. Left worksite clean and in order.

Everything about the landscaping went perfectly. The job was executed wonderfully, and the plants are healthy and vigorous. The landscape architect; David is unbelieveably knowledeable and patient with explanations and answere to our many questions. The staff at the store are so friendly, competent and full of answers. Fees charged are very reasonable.

David Bergman is wonderful. We have used Weatherford Gardens since moving here in 2004. They planted, and transplanted, many trees for us. Their philosophy of working with what's natural to our area and maintaining an organic, pesticide-free yard and garden is awesome. They trimmed our fruit-bearing fig tree, taking care to hopefully assure us a crop of fruit this summer. Their price for the work performed was 1/3 what we paid in 2012 to a group of people who did not speak English. Weatherford Gardens employs citizens, which makes them even more valuable.

Overall, the experience was excellent! They were meticulous about not making a mess while doing the work. They were congenial, willing to work with us and take our input. As a matter of fact, they're going to do some more work in our yard!

John and his team of workers are efficient and thorough. The 18 tons of moss boulders in our back garden were placed individual with a lot of thought and hard work. Our koi pond has even won an honorable mention in the magazine, Koi USA.

I got what I asked for no more no less, the work was done on time and the crew arrived as scheduled

They are always professional, on time and very creative.

Plumbing for a koi pond is not like regular plumbing at all it is very specific to koi ponds. I have tried many companies who have gotten it all wrong, but not John. His work was just wow. When impresses me most is that he actually does Japanese gardens. Regardless of whether or not he is here he always shows up, which is unusual.

His price was reasonable. He did a nice job. He told us not to do anything and the he would come back to cut and trim. However he didn’t turn up. I would use him in future if needed.
