Several weeks ago I noticed, to my horror, that my garage was separating from my home. I called Trusted Foundation to evaluate what was going on and what my options were. Mr. Vallejo arrived that afternoon and thoroughly inspected the foundation around the home and inside as well, checking to confirm the home was level. He explained my foundation was sinking, assured me we had caught it early, and presented our options. We decided on piers, which were installed two weeks later. He and his crew arrived at 7:20 am. , began work immediately, and finished around 3:00. He answered all of my questions , was very professional and knowledgable. I am very pleased with the job. This coming spring I am going to have them pier the other side of my home. I am not having problems with it yet, but will feel better if it is done. I will certainly recommend them to my neighbors.

Purchased home in May 2014.  Home included a transferable warranty on six-concrete piers installed in September 2013.  Warranty transferred late according to policy, but transfer was accepted with a $175 fee for transferring.  After a great number of attempts to contact owner Pete Vallejo Jr.; he advised he would perform warranty work on Sept. 23 at 8:30-AM.  At 10:00AM and approximately five phone contact attempts, I decided he wasn't coming and went on to work.  I continued to call throughout the day; to the point of almost begging him to let me know what was going on and when or if he was going to perform the warranty work.  At about 5;30pm, I received a call from one of his employees.  He apologized for Pete's failure to return my call and attempted to make excuses for him.  He stated he would be at my house at 8:30am the next morning (Sept. 24).  The gentleman appeared at my home as he promised.  He dug "one" hole to uncover a single pier, which had sunk to the point below the bottom of the foundation.  He stated he had been instructed which pier to uncover and that he was only to pump the jack up 20-times.  This effort was the limit of his warranty.  With six piers installed to secure the foundation originally, I fail to understand how limited the warranty effort to a single pier and limiting the action to 20-pumps on the jack, can be considered sufficient.  The employee submitted that he actually exceeded his instructions by pumping over 20-times; however his effort failed to make any change in the 1/8th-inch crack in my living room wall.  I am now forced to retain another company for a sum of $4600 to rectify the foundation problem.  I fear for the owner of Trusted Foundation.  It appears from his telephone conversations and the feeble attempt of his employee to justify his failure to accommodate my warranty, the person is suffering from some form of affliction.  I wish him recovery, but will never recommend anyone to use his company and services.
Response from Trusted Foundation Repair
"Mr. [removed members name], After you contacted me regarding the warranty of your home the first step was to get the warranty transferred into your name. After receiving the transfer fee necessary to complete the transaction it took approximately two weeks for us to get everything over to your name. After doing so I contacted you, listen to what your issues where. At that time you told me the hairline crack repaired where it once was, you also expressed how you didn't want your chimney to fall off the house. I assured you that would not happen, and I also stated we did not install any piers around the chimney. The piers we installed where to stop movement of the house and there where no negative readings at all. I can provide you a copy of the statement that I provided to the homeowner that you purchased the house from. I also mentioned that I would send a guy out and he would need to adjust the corner pier. At the time we spoke you seemed to be ok with that. Once my employee showed up, he walked and talked with you. He mentioned you stated that you would leave the water hose running at the corner for long periods of time. We only open piers as we see fit, we do not open all piers unless its completely necessary, and after talking with you he felt that one pier would do. When we adjust piers all it is opening it up, setting a jack and re-lifting nothing more. We cannot lift a house that doesn't need lifting. Then we would be over lifting and that could cause structural damage. He did mention that you did want all the piers open, unfortunately that would take more guys to do. It was also mentioned that you could call me a schedule a time to do so, but you refused to call and said you would find someone else. We have never had any complaints from any customers for anything at all. We would like to reconcile this dispute any way we can. We can set up a call on the weekend so you do not have to miss any work, we never charge a warranty fee. I do not see 4,600.00 worth of work being done. If for some reason new piers needs to be installed we would install half for free of charge. SO if 6 is needed we would charge for 3. We apologize for any problems that may have occurred. Please feel free to call me at any time, and I hope we can resolve this matter."
