UPDATE AS OF 10/20/2020: UPDATE from From Bad To Worst “F” review. 9/23/20 Grout on bath floor tile is already broken and falling out. Less than a month after being Redone from the first horrible job done!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Bad to Worse! Bought gray slice river rock shower tile. Installer built up floor told not to was to just level, raised the step out 21/2” hubs has a bad foot and could fall. The sliced gray river rock shower tile we picked out is Brown Ugly Brown from some junk the guy Keith went and bought sealed it with. It’s bad!! The floor tile was stalled wrong so we paid Keith $100 off the the bonks to remove what was don and do what he was ask to start with. When finished the tile part of the grout was gray thin set part the the grout we picked. The grout lines were all different sizes and some had already broke and come out. When Keith finished he loaded his tools started his truck and it running in front of the house came back to the door crack it open and told Hubs he was done. He scurried out to his truck and left before we had the chance to even go look. ? Called Billy (Luckys) ask If he could come out.. Nope to busy. He wasn’t to busy to send a bill! 3 mo later after several tries to contact him he came out and did agree it was Bad. Sent Jesse out who had to grind the grout out and redo the entire floor and the floor looks very good BUT I we are stuck with an UGLY BROWN shower floor I HATE and now we have to redo the surround just to match!! OH Yeah over this 3 mo period we had No Toilet in that bathroom!! Worst a time wasting expensive rip!!

It went well - installers worked very hard and did a good job - floors are beautiful. Made a huge mess because they had to chip up a lot of tile, but the end result was well worth it.

The man who layed the floors was excellent. The Plumber was excellent. The Electrician was excellent. That brings us to the Man who did the carpentry, painting, and Tile work. A very nice man who is a and quot;Jack of All Tradesand quot; and Clearly a and quot;Master of Noneand quot;. My main complaint is the Tile work. He didn't have a trowel so He put the Mud on the Wall with His hand. The 12X24and quot; Tiles are straight But Not Flush to the wall. They regularly Lip Up and Out from the wall. There is also a 7and quot; Glass Tile Insert that runs through the tub surround and around the wall. This was also done so that the tiles resemble a hillbillies teeth. Sorry if I've offended any Hillbillies. He also decided on His own to change the grout in the Glass tiles from Grey to White. The tiles are a Green glass with a White sand stone and a White Marble. Do you see the problem with white grout?
But My real Disappointment was when the Job was finished and I asked the Owner Lucky to come and look at the work he had done. He became Belligerent, and Angry. He said in a very Pissy tone that he would call before he came. He Never Came. I called him back about a week or so later. he seemed to be the Old Lucky. The Lucky I and My Wife had originally done business with. Once again I invited Lucky to come and see His work. He graciously accepted and said He would call before came. He Never Came. The work was done just before Thanksgiving 2013. The second Invitation was in the first week of December. Invitation #3 was today 1/8/14. the Lady on the phone Sue, said he was not available. Good Luck Do'in Business with LUCKY.

We had shopped all over for hardwood flooring and Lucky's did had the best price. Lucky and Sue were very nice to work with. They still do business with a handshake. Nice people. The only issues were with the installation crew. The installation should have only taken a couple of days. It however stretched out over 5 days. The crew wouldn't show up until 10:00 to 11:00 am and would leave around 4:30 pm.

The undercutting on the baseboards is rough and jagged looking in several places. When they took up the ceramic tile in the small entryway it would have been very easy to contain most of the dust by hanging up some painter's plastic. Instead we have been cleaning for weeks now to get the dust out which managed to penetrate in to the backs of closed cabinets located in other rooms. Twice they scratched the new flooring by trying to move furniture without using the furniture dolly which they had with them. This required those pieces to be cut out and replaced which was a slow process and now we have pieces that are not flush since the tongue and groove joint was cut off. We were only left with two extra slats of flooring. When we received the invoice for the work it only referenced and quot;flooring as per estimateand quot;. Not sure how that will work if there are any warranty issues down the road.

Lucky and his crew were/are quickly responsive and their work is beautiful. They arrived when they said they wood and the attention to detail is great! He even had a piece special ordered for trim to keep one long piece, instead of several shorter work. Looks much nicer. The quality of their workmanship is excellent! Even after the fact they have been quick to address my needs. They even dealt well with my "larger than life" German Shepard and Westie, who like to get in the way. Their pricing is comparative for the products I chose. I couldn't be happier with their craftsmanship and professionalism. If I even have any other flooring or other surface needs, Lucky will be the one I call!

THE JOB WAS AN OKAY JOB. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN, BUT MIGHT LOOK FOR A BETTER RECOMMENDATION FIRST. THE TIME FRAME WAS OKAY, I THINK THAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE FASTER, BUT THE OVERALL OUTCOME WAS WHAT I WANTED SO I WAS PLEASED.

I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THEM AT ALL. THEY DID NOT ORDER ENOUGH CARPET TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND WHEN EVERYTHING WAS SAID AND DONE THE CARPET ORDER DID NOT MATCH WHAT I HAD ASKED FOR.
