He is a retired person who works on his own. He was referred to me by somebody else who owns a sprinkler business. He was awful and always complaining and whining about being tired and working too hard. I have never heard anybody talk like him which I found very unprofessional. When I showed him what the problem was he told me that the sprinkler system was all wrong and had to be completely redone even though I had been using it for over ten years during which it had been all fine. I told him to leave if he was not feeling well and to come back when he was, which he did. When my husband came back from work that day he cleaned up all the dirt around the sprinkler system after which I called to tell him this. This made things easier for him to fix now but when he came out he said that he was not working that day and would come the next week. When I called him for his third visit he said that he could not come out as he does not work on Mondays and Tuesdays and that he would be out on Wednesday. When he came out on that Wednesday he continued to complain about the box and how it was a really bad job. He calls me on the phone and charges me 60$ an hour for his work. When he was done with the work I asked him if he checked if it is working properly and he tells me that he has not checked on that as yet which was really irritable. I told him that I would appreciate if he checked the work before he left to which he did not answer. He was here for around fifty minutes so when the time came to pay him I thought I would have to owe him 60 $ plus any parts he replaced but it came up to 75 $ for the service call and an extra 60 $ on the bill which was supposed to be for the labor. Instead of having a fight with him I gave him the money and he left. When my husband came back from work that day he noticed that one of the sprinklers still did not work and repaired it himself. He did not do the job right and I would not recommend him to anyone. I would not use him again in the future.
