Kinsey Quilts

Donna allowed me to come over right away, I was visiting from out of state and was planning on gifting my quilt in a couple of days....Donna got right to work, putting other things on hold I think, and repaired my quilt right away....she even had some fabric I could use for binding and offered to do that as well....saved me a lot of time and further stress!!! Also would like to add, this was all done during the busy busy holidays!!!

Donna did an OUTSTANDING job of this project. Not only did she create a quilt of excellent quality from the main part of the shirts, but she also incorporated the shoulder patch from the t-shirts that had them. In addition, she used her embroidery skills to create a few extra panels for balance, including a center piece of the family crest ( the rook tower from chess). The quilting stitch pattern was also of the rook outline done free-hand on her long-arm machine. Donna has created a wonderful memory keepsake for me and a treasured heirloom for my family. I can't praise her highly enough for what she did.

The quilting was completed in record time. The quality was excellent and made the embroidery stand out giving a professional appearance. Kinsey Quilts helped with the binding and gave me pointers for professional looking binding. I would definitely use this service in the future.

The work was done beautifully! I am thrilled with the result.

I was very pleased. Several squares on my quilt had different stitching designs. I thought that was very clever and unique. She also was very informative on sewing tips for future quilts I might make.
