Ameritex Services Moving

The pack-up was scheduled for Wednesday the 19th.  Charles arrived with another helper and started to work.  However, he forgot to bring two wardrobe boxes for hanging clothing that I had specifically asked him to bring and he forgot to pack several sections of the kitchen.  He said that he would bring the wardrobe boxes on the day of the move (that Friday, the 21st) and I did not notice the kitchen stuff that was forgotten until the next day.  When his crew arrived on Friday (about 45 minutes late) he noticed the kitchen items that had been forgotten but did not pack them appropriately.  Most of the items were just hastily wrapped into a furniture pad or put into brown paper bags that I had lying around.  Charles had also forgotten the wardrobe boxes and when I brought this to his attention, he left to go buy them.  Overall, the move went well and his guys did a great job with the heavier items. But, in going back the pack-up, several household items were not packed appropriately and did not arrive at my new apartment, most notably several brackets that are part of an entertainment center.  Had the brackets been collected and put into a bag or box when the entertainment center was moved, this would not have happened.  Electronic items were not placed into a box and packed, but rather into a laundry basket.  I did not realize this until I arrived at my new location.  Finally, a wall-size glass picture frame was left down in the parking garage, leaning next to a pillar.  Overall, I was not happy with the service provided, mostly due to a poor pack-up two days prior that wasn't fixed before the move began.  I would not use his company again nor would I recommend anyone else to either.
