I called Zach Whiteside owner of Unisen Media to get a quote on installing 3-4 TVs . Zach arrived on August 22nd to take a look at the scope of the project and give me a quote for the work. Zack was ontime and I thought he was a man of integrity and strong moral character. He spoke about how important taking care of his customers was. We built what I thought was a strong rapport and felt that I trusted him to do the job correctly. I decided to hire Zach and Unisen media to complete the job. On September 10th Zach came out to install the TVs.with his helper who i dont remember his name. They installed all the Tvs and at the end we noticed one of the TVs ( in the Sports room which had 3 installed on the wall was actually damaged). I structed them to remove it from the wall and I would return it.( I actually pulled down the other since I wanted matching TVs.) I was frustrated and this is where Zachs true colors started to show. He offered to come out on Friday Sept 13 free of charge to help me install them. I left him a voicemail and I sent him a text to take him up on his offer and received no response. I even offered to take him to lunch for his time. It didnt end there.  On September 28th  I had electrical work being done and the electricians told me the HDMI cables from the sports room were running across the opening to the attic. I went and looked and realized Zach didnt use long enough HDMI cable to properly secure cables to the sides of the attic opening. So I decided to text him again since he said he warrantied his work. He actually replied with "Yes, What day is good". I replied with Monday. he replied Yes, First thing. Thats the last Ive heard from him. He will not answer his phone, return phone or text messages. So I have to go and spend money on HDMI extender cables and install them myself. I paid good money to have this work done for me. This guy is a snake oil saleman.It was a sign when he cashed the check i wrote him immediately. Then just this weekend I needed to pull the center main TV off the wall and found out that he really does sloppy work. The hole in the wall behind the tv, he didnt put a cable plate over the hole. Its just a big rectangle hole. Someone who actually cared would have put a wall plate over the hole,and even zip tied the loose wires behind the TVs.not to mention a plate over the electrical outlet. Zach has NO attention to detail and doesnt care about his customers!!!
Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs Unisen Media!!!. This is a shame as I was considering adding home automation to my house and was going to use Unisen. Boy Im glad I didnt. They dont service their clients. Zach could try to spin this a million ways but I have the texts and pictures of the work that I will share upon someones request.
