The staff members are incompetent and did not get the job done on time or properly. They were slow and did not follow clear instructions. There is a lack of urgency and documentation controls in place. The schedulers need to be let go and replaced with better and newer ones.

Tony does very good work.  He is very busy so sometimes you have so schedule several weeks out.  The bathroom faucets were installed on cultured marble tops.  They had a lot of trouble getting the drains to seal properly, but continued working with them until they worked.  They also replaced and moved some pipe in the attic.  I thought his rate was a little high, but they were at my house most of the day.  I never had any issues with his work.  I'd definitely use him again.

After the plumber left the house and told me the plumbing was fine to use, the tub leaked. I had spent a month drying out under my house so the subflooring and hardwood floors could be replaced and now the project will be delayed. The owner came out to discuss the leak and the rest of the project ( replacing the cast iron on the other bathroom with pvc) and was combative and insulted me several times. This company charges by the hour. The job required dirt to be removed to access the pipes. I told them I did not want to pay $82.50/hour for a plumber to dig dirt. The people I hired to dig it out were unable to complete the job, so I decided to finish the digging myself. I found I was twice as effective/efficient as the workers in removing dirt. When the owner came out to review the rest of the job, he told me he did not think a lady should be doing this type of work. When I asked if it wouldn't be better to reroute the plumbing down the tunnels already dug for the insulation, he gave me a lecture on respecting his profession and not trying to run his crew. Another plumber has confirmed that my plan is more efficient and poses no problems from a plumbers perspective. I was merely trying to plan the job so it could be accomplished efficiently, yes, to save me money. I felt this was my prerogative as homeowner and the one who would be paying for the job. Also, since the job was by the hour and his crew was taking longer than any of the other four plumbing bids had estimated, I thought we needed to review the plan of action. I felt justified in reviewing the work because earlier, I had caught a backflow issue with the tub plumbing, which the owner did agree was an issue so we addressed by rerouting the plumbing. Yes, the plumber he sent out was probably insulted by my insistence on overseeing the work as it progressed, but this is my house and I want to make sure it is done correctly before the subfloors are put back, at which time it will be much more difficult to access these areas to make future repairs. The owner keeps reiterating how professional they are and how I should not be involved, yet they have made errors that I felt needed correcting. He also tends to interrupt me in mid sentence in order to voice his opposition (and goes into a long list of his credentials) before I can even get my entire point made. This has happened numerous times during our conversations. When I pointed out that he was doing this, he put his hand out to shake my hand and said, and quot;Have a nice dayand quot;, turned around and left. My tub still leaks.

He did a great job. He came the same day that I called him. I was impressed he was able to do so. They tried to repair it, but couldn't. They came back that night and installed the entire thing. They cleaned everything up afterward. I have relatively new wood floors that they were careful about. The city, when they came out to okay the permit, said he did a first rate job. I would highly recommend this company to other members.

The work turned out great. He does a great job. He is very thorough. He does more than the other plumbing companies do when they come out. I would use his service in the future too.

Good service. Availability due to his location may have been a factor in price. Typically I first try to use local skilled trades but Gibson was available quickly. It would have been nice to have the seams caulked.

He is very reliable and communicative with me. He was very responsive throughout the process. He was expected to be a lot more expensive and he was very good about keeping the cost down. I highly recommend Gibson Plumbing. I give Gibson Plumbing A's all around.
