Excel Construction Group turned out to be a very well organized company with a distinctive flavor of a local small business. They care about every needs of the customer, because a good reputation is the main weapon they can use to survive in the surrounding of the big construction-oriented conglomerates. At the moment, they combine door-to-door and word of mouth advertising with a pretty well organized web site. It apparently works for them due to a solid quality of a job done, and especially due to a very friendly and personal treatment of the customers. Our project manager was Kyle Dodds who took care of all details very professionally. First, was a careful free inspection of the roof using a drone and taking multiple photos. Next, he provided us with full info about recent hail storms in our area that could result in a damage discovered, with exact dates that are to be used to file a claim with your insurance company. We obtained detailed description of the character of the damage, possible options for the repair including various type of shingles and other materials with cost analyses and with info on how much it will cost to you depending on your insurance policy deductible. (If the deductible is 1% and you did not choose to upgrade the roof materials, you may end up with zero to pay). They allow you to take time to look around for the alternative contractors, but you really do not need to: the prices are very comparable and what you really need is a quality of a job and nice people to work with. All this is present with Excel people. After signing a job contract, they took care of helping to file a construction project request paperwork with your HOA and solving unexpected obstacles (that actually happened) during a request approval. The actual work was done during one day (at your convenience date) and very professionally. The flower beds around the house were covered with protecting materials, and all the nails around the house were magnetically extracted during the final cleaning procedure. For the extra bonus, a couple of leaky gutter connections were repaired during the roofing and some chimney bold spots were repainted. I would recommend this company for roofing projects to everybody.
