Got the job done very quickly and I'm happy with the results. However, the communication is nonexistent on how to care for floors, any warranty information and they could not reinstall the master bedroom door because carpet was too high. This was done on a Wednesday and I didn't find out until Saturday when I went to the house and saw the door not put back on. The installers left trash in the house and cut the laminate in the house which left dust on everything. Installer did come back out on Saturday to try and rectify the issues I had.

Day prior to tile removal, I went into store and spoke to the sales rep.  I asked if there was anything I needed to do prepare for the next day such as take pictures off walls and cover furniture.  I was told no that they would take care of it all.  The next day the tile guys showed up and began their demolition.  The store rep also visited that morning.  The tile guys had not covered any thing.  I had the fore thought to cover the TV and new sofa myself.  The Waco Carpet rep did not say anything to the tile guys.

Needless to say my house, furniture, drapes, carpet and walls was covered in massive amounts of tile dust and debris.  The gentleman from Target Restoration came by that afternoon to see what had been done that day.  All I can say is that he was not a happy camper.  He told  the tile guys that they had to clean up the mess.  They had a deer in the head light look.  They proceeded to use my dust cloths, vacuum , etc and made a small attempt to clean up.  My husband went in and caught them using my items and asked don't you have your own cleaning equipment?  They said no.  He then asked are you going to replace mine?  Again deer in the head lights look.

The next day they returned to finish the demo.  Both my husband and I let them know that we did not appreciate the condition they left my house in.  We were then told that they were not told to cover items.  I then said isn't that common sense?  He did not appreciate that.

End result is that I have had to have my carpets, drapes and furniture cleaned.  My walls along with a picture have been damaged.  Now I am trying to match wall paint as my house needs repainting due to their negligence.

I am not happy with these people.  I have not received any type of phone call to discuss the events of the retile.

I received an estimate for $1048 and scheduled my appointment.  Part of the estimate was in case there was joist work to be done after they tore up the floor.  My contact, Ray Martinez, found me a different type of flooring, at my request,  which had a 10 year warranty and there was no joist work done, so my final bill was around $830.
I was EXTREMELY pleased with the work performed at my home.  The men came on time (about 9:15 or so) and hit the ground running.  They worked SO hard that I went out to buy them lunch.  One of the workers took about ten minutes to eat and the other got his lunch on a paper plate and continued to work!  The only time they stopped was to go get supplies.  I watched as they worked because the last person who replaced my floor in the bathroom did not do a good job.  These gentlemen, Lorenzo and Steve, took up ALL the old flooring and took the trash out as they went.  They reinforced the area where the damaged originally occurred and they even cleaned the walls behind where my toilet stood.  They measured carefully when installing the sub floor and flooring.  They put baseboard down and caulked the tub.  They were finished by about 4:30.  This was a blessing to me because I only have one bathroom in my house.
Several of my family members have come to see the work and were amazed at how good it looked.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Carpet World, Ray Martinez, and their contractors to do you flooring!!

I can't give a final review because I am still dealing with the problem. At first things went well, but as time wore on the vinyl started turning gray. I callled the store 3 times. One time the man said that my problem was that moisture had gotten under it. This floor was a part of several repairs that were caused because my washing machine pipe broke. I called a contractor and he arranged the repairs so he called Waco Carpet to do the work. Shouldn't they have a record of this?
The last time I called Waco Carpet, he said that they have  no record of this transaction.  Shouldn't they have a record of this anyway?
I need something done about this floor. Also, I am wanting new carpet for the family room and I don't know where to go.

Got estimates from 2 other carpet stores in Waco.  This was by far the best price for similar or better product (better flooring, same or maybe a little less on carpet--had an additional seam. This was much better than the store that advertised lowest price.
It took about 2 weeks for the flooring to come in.
They contracted the work to a local guy who was great.  They didn't tell me he was coming until the day he showed up, but otherwise communication was ok.  Happy with my new floors.
