NEMMER ELECTRIC INC

One of the best experiences I have ever had with home repair/maintenance. From Bianca--very warm, courteous, and knowledgeable--who I spoke with to schedule the appointment. She set an 8:15am appointment for the next day. My tech, Chris, was literally knocking on the door at exactly 8:15. We went through was needed to be done, and he had all the jobs completed within two hours. He was very friendly, courteous, professional, and efficient with his time. Work areas were left clean, no debris, etc. I am thoroughly pleased with the work and the experience, and I give Nemmer my highest recommendation.

The rough in installation went smoothly enough but I was seriously overcharged for time. The first visit was the day before my scheduled appointment which I did not ask for. Their employee called me, told me he had finished up early on another job and would like to stop by to see what all was needed for the next day. Little did I know he'd charge me for that! It sounds like a courtesy stop but apparently, I was charged for that as well. Needless to day, each visit I was at my residence and kept an accurate accounting of the time Nemmer Electric's employee was on the job. Worst part about it all, is the work is only roughed in. I do not have useable outlets until the fireplace mantle is built and in place, which I expected. Little did I know that based on my bill to date, I would be paying close to $1000.00 (if not more) to have power to my fireplace, electrical, cable and speaker wire for my television when it is all said and done! I was billed for 6 hours of labor when at best,the employee was here a total of 4 hours and this is generous considering the time the electrican spent reading the fireplace instruction manual and talking. I sent them a check, they are paid in full and after asking them to refund me for two hours, their office manager said she would have to talk to the and quot;powers that beand quot; and would get back to me. This marks three days and I haven't heard back.
In summary, if I had it to do all over again, I would have gotten everything in writing including an estimated time frame to complete my job. As it stands now, I don't have a completed job and will have to seek out another electrician to finish what they started. These folks boast about being the most reasonably priced company in Waco and perhaps they are, but beware...use a timer, document and have the electrician initial that the time is correct or you'll be sorry. I won't use them or recommend them because I don't like feeling gouged.

They came to install some new security lights for me. They were here about fifty minutes and did a really great job. I have used them for several other light installation projects as well.
